    it is 57.28mm outer diameter I used Vinca dcla--0805 digital caliper and it measures 57.33, 57.26, 57.21 in outer diameter in 3 locations so you can see roughly it's diameter. so let's just say 57.28mm as it's rough outer diameter (picked from top of my head, randomly) 4Great socket, great price Great socket, great price making it a real bargain. Used on a 1997 dodge ram 3500 4x4 front end, no issues, good fitm 5The RIGHT tool for the job! Just what I needed to get the job done. Use this to take the axle nut off of a 98 Dodge 1500 Ram. I made the mistake of buying an impact socket from my local auto supply, but the socket walls were too thick and the socket wouldn't fit, so I bought this one instead and it worked like a charm! 5A must have socket!! Does exactly what it is supposed to at a fraction of the cost of other sockets. I also love that it is 1/2" drive as opposed to many other brands which are 3/4." Throw a in a lifetime warranty, and buying this socket is a no brainier. Thank you powerbuilt! 5no problem I bought this 1 11/16 socket to remove the hub nut on my 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4. as the hub bearing was whining. I bought a factory hub instead of the aftermarket; a little more pricey, but I don't want to have to redo this. With my Earthquake 1/2 drive impact from HF, it came loose in a split second. The socket fit snug and perfectly into the recess of the hub. 5So far it works great. Very thin. Bought this one by mistake, I read a web site wrong about taking off a hub. Ended up using it on my rear end for my dodge to replace bearings. 5Great socket for the money! Bought this to aid in the wheel bearing removal of my 2004 Ram 2500. Description says '94 and newer, and can personally vouch that it works AT LEAST up until 2004. 04-07 front ends are the same, so I'm sure it'll work up to a '07. Socket is your typical impact socket - 6 point, very thick compared to regular chrome sockets. I don't think any 1/2" drive impact will be able to break this socket any time soon.The exterior of the socket isn't very smooth like name brand ones (Snap on, Mac, etc), but for the price, who cares. We as mechanics buy it to work with, not to be pretty. And it works well. 5Great fit for Dodge I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 and this socket was perfect for taking the spindle nut off. The quality of material looks like this will be a lasting product, and backed by a lifetime warranty. The fact that this is a 1/2" drive is extremely convenient, unlike the other 3/4 drive tools. Would highly recommend this to others. 5surprise Was very surprised it held up to me I am hard on sockets and manage to break them'Especially on 4wd spindle nuts 5Broken 2 breaker bars and 1 socket adapter. I've broken the drives off of two 1/2" breaker bars and one 3/4"-to-1/2 adapter (using a cheater bar). Look, there's nothing I can find wrong with this socket; I bought it because I thought the 1/2" drive would be convenient. Errr! Wrong. For taking off a stubborn Dodge Ram wheel hub nut, I wish I had bought a 3/4" drive or even 1" drive socket. The 1/2" drive on this socket is proving to be the weak link in all this! 4
