    Exactly What I Needed! I finally upgraded from my Graphire 4 to a Intuos but one thing which quickly became an issue for me was the friction on the new tablet. On the one ones they had a smooth plastic cover which held the pen and you could also draw on top of. This gave me the feel of my old tablet and I'm sure it will also it saved the nibs, I was still on the original one from my old tablet after over a decade of use! 5Sturdy, easy application Pros:SturdyEasy to applyStands up to constant, consistent useSmooth feelCons:It looks a little cheap.The film doesn't line up with all the edges--it's just a little, tiny bit small.Overall, I would not only buy this again but recommend it to all my tablet-using friends. 4Doing its job so far I bought this right after I got my new tablet because the pen rasped against the drawing surface with the sound and sensation of a dried out marker. It was most unpleasant. I wasn't completely thrilled to pay for what was essentially a heavy duty transparency but it was easier than trying to rig something up myself. It's nice and smooth and staying in place so far though I do wonder how long the adhesive will hold. 4Best 10$ I ever spent! I can't imagine using my tablet without this cover anymore. It fits perfectly, covering all of the silver area of my tablet. You can see the adhesive a tiny bit - but really, it's clear and you'd never notice unless you were looking for it. I've included a picture of the tablet with the screen cover on, so you can judge for yourself how much the adhesive would bug you.And the benefits far outweigh this small irritation:My nibs have ceased disappearing. This was the main reason I got the cover, and so far it's held up this end, even with how much I've been using the tablet recently.Drawing with it is so much smoother. I never realized the "drag" that would happen with the stylus against the tablet until I had this thing on. Now I would never go back. 5Gives my tablet a longer life This does exactly what I wanted. My nibs were worn down due to many years using my Intuos. The surface was scratched a bit so it wore down quicker. I wish I had this item when I first got it!!! It makes the surface more slick but not so much it feels weird or my hand slips or sticks to it so it s good. I haven t used it long enough to see if it saves nibs a ton, but after a few weeks my nib hadn t changed and usually it would have by now, so I think it s doing it s job. The cover doesn t affect tablet usage and will help me eke out a few more years on my old but good intuos until I can get an Intuos Pro. 5A Must for All Wacom Tablets These covers keep tablet from becoming scratched with continuous use. They are tough and help nibs to glide over the tablet without any drag. They will keep your tablet from becoming worn out and are a lot cheaper than buying new tablets. 5Satisfactory Purchase I found the rough surface of the Intuos difficult to draw on, and did some searching and found this surface cover. It also is nice that the cover takes the scratching damage from the pen instead of the tablet so you can keep drawing on a familiar surface just by replacing the cover. If I remember correctly, my first one lasted a little more than two years before I felt the need to replace it. Well worth the extra few dollars. 5A low-cost option to protect your tablet The idea and utility of this product are great. It's also economically priced and does well what it says it would. The film doesn't cover the entire surface of the tablet that it is designed for, but coves most. Unfortunately, I had the bad luck of receiving a product that had someone's hair stuck between the film and the adhesive glue. The film adheres to the tablet by thin strips of adhesive around the edges BUT it's still easy to remove if you need to (after I got it on I noticed a speck of dust so I had to left the corner to get it out). 5I was disappointed with the quality of this item I was disappointed with the quality of this item. It works and protects well but is little more than a sheet of acetate with strips of double sided tape on the edges. I could have easily replicated this exact protector for less than $0.50 using a overhead projector transparency and some doublesided tape. If this one every wears out, that is exactly what I will do. I think this item is highly overpriced. 1
