Works very well - recommended This stuff works so well I went and found the same for my tablet.It essentially eliminates fingerprints and cheek smudges and appears to be very tough.I'm usually leery of these type products - I always seemt to get bubbles and those really bug me.Not this screen - it was a breeze to apply and ZERO bubbles.I'm completely happy with the product. 5Almost Exact Fit! Looks great! Bought a used NEX-6 that had a very worn screen protector so I wanted to replace it with a new one. For some reason, many of the used NEX-6's I've seen on eBay had a problem with the screen coating wearing out, so getting a protector is a must to protect the screen of this camera. This particular glass protector fits very well and does not affect clarity as far as I can tell. I wish the original owner put something like this in the first place.One hint for installing, because the protector is very close in tolerance to the size of the actual NEX screen, I would suggest aligning the long part of the screen protector with the camera screen, then gently lowering it. I did the short side first and it ended up being a little crooked! Since I'm a perfectionist, I had to remove it and re-align it, which of course gives a greater likelihood of dust creeping in. I do not see any dust so I guess I was lucky!I would definitely buy this again!Pros:-Glass clear!-Great fit-No problems installingCons:-Tight tolerances means you have to be very precise in aligning it. 5The Screen Came with lint on The sticky Side. Overall it looks great and fits close. Its just a little off. But still covers everything you need it to cover. However mine came with a spec of lint on the sticky side. I didn't notice it until I turned the unit on. Its got a dark spot on it and it caused an air bubble to form. I can't get it to go away and one corner is loose enough that I could lift it up easily. I think this might come loose in my gear bag.Also it shows finger prints and smudges. It is at least easier to clean the screen now.I'm not happy with this product. It gets two stars because it cleans up easy when smudge and the build quality is good (just needs a lint free area to package the product). I can't recommend this until this issue is resolved. 2it protected my display against a slight impact on a brick wall. I purchased this product after purchasing my a5100 in January 2017. I have to say it was easy to put on. Thanksgiving night I was carrying my camera not in its protective neoprene sleeve and I was going down an apartment stairwell, which one side is brick wall. I heard my camera bump against the brick. When I got to my car I noticed the lower left corner of my display look like it had chipped and part of the glass was about to fall off. but I remembered I had this on it, so when I got him I took my fingernail and removed the tempered glass, and oh my goodness, I was relieved that all the cracking and visual damaged was to this glass screen protector, the camera looks flawless, so I am ordering one more of these tonight! 5Amazing Product This screen protector film works marvelously. It kept my Sony camera screen scratch free. For a cheap price, this is very worth it to buy in order for your screen to be scratch free. The screen protector fits perfectly on the screen. Well, it doesn t cover the entire screen though. There is going to be a little bit of space on the edges. However, the quality of the plastic screen is good.There is a small wooden box with the purchase. Inside that box, you can find a small rug to wipe your camera and some stickers. 5Great screen protector for the price. This is a review of the tempered optical glass screen protector for my Sony a6300. I've reviewed many tempered glass screen protectors in the past for iPhones and this is very similar as far as the quality and the accessories that come in the box in order to help you install the screen protector properly. On the a6300, the screen protector doesn't go edge to edge on the entire back portion, which I prefer. The reason I prefer it that way is some screen protectors require you to be perfect and if you are just a tiny bit off, there could be part of the protector hanging to the side. No matter how you install this one, it will leave a little bit of space but it does the job of covering the entire LCD portion of the back screen. The packaging comes in an amazing high quality box. Inside you'll find a wet and dry wipe along with some stickers to help take away any remaining dust.Over all I would definitely recommend this screen protector, especially for the price. It is a great value. 5Great value for the money Great value for the money. I just installed it and can't speak to the quality/function just yet. A few comments/tips. (1) Skip using the wet/dry wipes and just use your own quality lens cleaning cloth; includes ones were both dry and I think added dust. (2) Definitely skip the "dust absorber" as it will leave sticky residue on lens; think supermarket price tag used on your LCD screen. (3) The glass is a little thick but that could be a good thing. The one thin that I think the OEM sony one might have over this one is that it is wider and has black shading to match the sides of the camera. Given the cost, this was a good value. 4Perfect for Sony a6000 I was a little apprehensive on getting this product after reading some of the reviews. I decided to gamble on it and give it a try. The product came in that little wooden box like the others. Came with an alcohol wipe and a lint-free wipe (mind you both are a one-time use kind of thing) as well as some "guide stickers" I didn't use. Using the alcohol wipe and a glasses/lens cloth I had I did my best to get rid of all the smudges and dust I could from the camera.Next, the tricky part; peeling the adhesive off and lining it up to stick it on. Put the cat and dog in another room. Turn off all fans to avoid any more dust and only grip the edges of the glass. TIP: If for some reason you get dust stuck on the inside, BEFORE PUTTING IT ON, you can use gift/scotch tape to get it off without hurting/smudging the adhesives. Line up the long end to where you want it and release the glass! Try to get it to stick on one end first, and if done correctly, you'll see the glass stick from one end to the other with no air pockets. (I wouldn't recommend trying to remove it if you mess up; it's usually a hit or miss of whether or not the adhesive will smear. Just do your best!) Once on, apply pressure from center-out to make sure the glass sticks. Make sure to really get those edges.Been using the camera on hikes lately and have had confidence in its ability to protect the screen from dust and branches. Haven't had the unluckiness of seeing how it does against a rock scratch, but hopefully I won't be in a situation where my camera is that close to rocks! 5Don't forget a screen protector for your digital camera panel! Arrived in a cute, small wooden box (I'm sure one of the grandkids will love this for "something"), with all the supplies needed to attach the screen. Instructions were actually poorly written, but I have watched others put these covers on iPads, etc. The only critical thing is making sure that the surface is clean, dry, dust free and then holding the screen at an angle to the camera and align the edges along the longest part of the screen. When I lowered the glass onto the camera screen, over a few seconds, it self adhered without any bubbles forming. It went on perfectly, and fits EXACTLY the screen size of the A6000 Sony camera. I am a fan of these newer glass protective screens. I had an older Nikon camera that I did not put any type of screen protector on, and over a few years, the scratches were evident, just putting the camera in and out of the camera bag. Good price and quality product! 5Good protector for LCD on Sony a6000 Using this on a Sony a6000. Works great. It is larger than the LCD, but not larger than the frame the LCD is in. I found this made it easy to position. Just make sure to use the left side to align, especially the left top. Adheres tightly without adhesive. After mounting I do not notice any reduction in light output or change in coloring or sharpness of the LCD display. The supplied pre-installation wet & dry wipes were OK, but I ended up also using my own microfiber cloth to get all the hand oils off the LCD before applying. If you put this on rigt when you get the camera, you will probably not have to do as much cleaning. Really provides nice, cheap protection for the LCD. 5
