    I bought them to replace the mats in the Ikea ...I bought them to replace the mats in the Ikea Ribba frame which have a mat that really is hard to get prints for. Also, the Ribba frame comes with a mat that is off white. For some people, this is ok, but I was really looking for a true white mat to match the frame. These got the job done. 5Very very impressed!Color was crisp white just like promised. They shipped it beautifully! By beautifully I mean: it came in its own box inside the amazon box, then each grouping of materials (bags vs. Backings vs. Front matting) were packages seperate inside. The corners are pristine. I am highly satisfied!There is only 1 think left to do: package my art. I am curious if the bags have enough space to fit the thickness of the art and the matting. I'll update this either way, once I find out.I will be ordering from them again. In fact I ordered multiple sizes with them, this time around (8x10, 11x14, 16x20) all full sets and all were perfect upon opening them. (still have to test out the bags)I will not hesitate ordering from them again.Update: the bags are better than any I've been using this far!! 5Ya might wanna keep lookin'Just got these today and eight out of ten have damaged corners. Since the box, which offers absolutely no additional protection other than plastic wrap, was undamaged, I have to assume the damage was there before they went into the box. I need these like right now and fortunately they're going into frames. If I were displaying in the mat alone, which I sometimes do, I would be a little pi**ed. So, I will keep these but will definitely look for another source in the future. That's all I've got to say about it. 2Packaged well!Great quality! No damage! As described! I have read past reviews about bent corners and other damage. I would guess they changed their packaging because mine were double boxed with protective cardboard around the matts in the inner box. There was virtually no way mine were going to be damaged. 5The reason I bought these were to store photos in and they are no good to me due to the fact that my photos ...I didnt even want to give one star. Very rarely am I unsatisfied with any products from amazon. These bags are so paper thin and flimsy its ridicioulous. 1FantasticI am absolutely thrilled with this purchase. You get 5 mattes, 5 back boards and 5 bags to put your finished matted photo in. I have been matting photos for over 20 years. To find this quality matte with backing and bag, all at a great price, well, made my day 5Curling Edges & Inner Cut too large for 8x10They arrived wrapped in cellophane and looked strange. Not quite straight. Upon taking the mats out of the packaging, the edges popped up on two sides and would not lay straight even after weighting them down over night. Additionally, the inner cut was TOO LARGE for an 8x10 photo and photos fell through. Huge disappointment. This was for an art festival for students that same week. No time to replace. We went through with the curled edges and gaps on the mats. It looked awful. 1Corners damaged!Would be great but corners were damaged on all of them! 1Picture Perfect!These mats are exactly what I was looking for. We recently redecorated our living room and wanted to highlight several photos I had enlarged in black and white. It was too expensive to have 8 of them professionally framed, so I got some nice, simple black frames from Michael's (craft store) on sale, and got these great white mats to finish them off. They are sold white and have a nice clean bevel on the inside cut. Great price for a multi-pack. I would definitely buy again for my next project! 5Could be packaged betterThese mattes are pure white which is just what I was after, however I was initially bummed at having to order a 25 pack when I only needed 12. But it turned out I needed more to choose from since a lot of the corners ended up being bent. They were packaged in a box that was the same size as the mattes that were help together by cellophane and no other packing material. It s easy to see how these could have been damaged in transit. I hope in the future this company will consider putting foam formers on their products for shipping, or adding some type of insulation such as paper. 6 of my 25 pack ended up being unusable which would have been extremely disheartening had I actually needed all 25 pieces. 5
