    Worth the money would buy. Not -30 gloves unless you wear a thin pair of jersey gloves with them. Have used this winter in windchills -50 in Wisconsin and work nicely with thin jersey gloves with the mitts and kept my hands warm enough with one exception the thumb gets very chilly because it s alone. Anything above -10 they work very well kept my hands nice and warm. Kept water out pretty well. 5They are very well made, just wish they were ... They are very well made, just wish they were a little bigger. I did measure my hand before ordering and thought the large should work well, however it is a little snug which I'm sure makes a difference in their ability to keep my hands warm. We've had some below zero weather to test them out and my fingers did get very cold after being outside for about half an hour. 4Warm, waterproof mittens. I like these mittens a lot, especially the long cuff. However, they are not as warm as specified in the details. Down to 0 degrees, my fingers were getting cold. However it isn't that cold here except for a few days. There was a small defect in the index finger inner liner allowing my finger to go between the inner layer and the outer shell. It is a minor problem and only occasionally did my finger find it. I contacted the seller and was pleased with the quick response especially for a weekend. THey are replacing my mittens. Hopefully this is not a frequent defect and they will contact the manufacturer. 4I would not recommend the company unless you feel like rolling the dice I ordered the men's mittens and only one of them fit correctly. The other mitten had stitching too tight around the wrist and the interior lining did not match up to the exterior making it impossible to grab anything. I contacted the company's customer service and was told it happens and to return in through amazon. I would not recommend the company unless you feel like rolling the dice. 1These work better than name brand polyester mittens that cost half again as much. I was skeptical about the claims surrounding these mittens. I just gave them their trial by fire (or snow, actually) this past evening. They performed perfectly, and my hands didn't get the least bit cold despite shoveling snow and running a snowblower for almost an hour and 1/2. Previously, I've purchased more expensive mittens that were polyester insulated, and the polyester would cave and stop insulating in places where I was touching cold metal, like a shovel or snowblower. The Thinsulate insulation in these mittens performed flawlessly. I'm still a bit dubious about the -40 F rating. But I can attest that they work flawlessly at 20 above zero. I would suggest going up one size when ordering. They seem to run a bit smaller than most manufacturers. 5very satisfied My hands and fingers get cold very easily. Thus, I need a glove/mitten that will keep them as warm as possible. Having a glove inside of a mitten seems to be the key to obtaining the most warmth. These gloves are also very comfortable and they seem to be well made. I showed my Ozero mitten-gloves to my neighbor and he ordered two pairs of them as he is 85 years old and loves to go ice fishing. The sizing chart is true and accurate. By the way, when you put the gloves on for the first time, then may seem a little snug, but after you wear them for a bit, the loosen up and fit very well. 5Great snow mitts I got these gloves on Friday, just in time for a snowstorm to hit the Midwest over the weekend. This morning I took them out for a spin with a snow blower and then the shovel. I was out in the cold with temps in the single digits. My hands were warm till about the end, about an hour and a half in. Not sure about the -40 deg claim, but at this price point, they ended up being the warmest gloves I have ever owned. I didn't have to take any breaks due to cold hands like I normally have to. Very satisfied at present. Time will tell how well they hold up. They feel well done. The inside lining is a glove made of thinsulate. I normally wear a Large but ordered an XL based on some reviews and these fit me great. 5Way better than I'd have thought for the price!! My hands are happy shoveling snow :-) I have paid way more for way less comfort!! These things are amazing!! I really thought I'd need liners and pocket hand warmers like I have with the expensive junk I've bought at the big-box stores. These are warm and well designed, fit perfectly and keep my fingers toasty. I have a big driveway and long corner-lot of sidewalk plus my front walk. I have shoveled 3 times since I got them and I have forgotten the pain of frozen fingers. They show no signs of wear, dry quickly, I love 'em. I'm ordering a second pair to keep in the truck for clearing snow when I head home from work. 5These are NOT good to -40F These mittens are advertised good to -40F but that is not the case!!! I live in Alaska and spend a lot of time involved in winter activities. Our winters are warmer now then when I got here in 1975. Our cut off for too cold to be outside for day long activities is -30F. It's hard to find good gear and equipment that allows you to be out for hours at a time working in these kinds of temperatures. These mittens are not good for being out after 0F for any period of time. They also were smaller then expected. Again these mittens are not for extreme cold weather use!!!!! 1Run small For starters, I live in Minnesota and my hand are cold year round (that's what you get when you've had frost bite). I was looking for gloves rated for negative temps and I bought a larger size hoping to be able to add a layer. I gave these gloves 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1) Since I received these, it's only gotten down to 9* and my hands were chilly just walking along. Holding onto the steering wheel, or where ever the material was compressed, I was cold. I found the same to be true with temp in the teens. 2) I am a women but usually Men's Large gloves fit me best. I ordered XXL to have that extra room and there isn't any. They are snug around the knuckles. There is extra material at the end of the fingers and thumb, probably for added warmth but it can be a pain with driving (they keep turning on the turn signal and wipers). Hopefully that will decrease as they get broken in. 3
