    Training aid So far this adapter has worked very well I would recommend it to anyone using dual headsets for training with an Avaya 9508 phone. 5Works as advertised. I know others have had issues ... Works as advertised. I know others have had issues with it, but ours seem to work without incident. Call quality was slightly degraded or I would have given 5 stars. 4Highly recommend Recommend for any business who need to train people on the phone and also hear the customer words without a lot of background noise 5Works, but not as expected Mute buttons didn't work at all for me. When a simple handset is plugged in, you can listen but not talk. I suppose this is to be expected since there is no power running to the adapter. Using 2 headsets both users were able to talk and control their mute with the button on the headset itself, making the need for a mute button pointless. I could have bought a 5 dollar adapter that would have performed the same task.No noise issues or cutting out. Worked for what we needed it for. 3Poor quality. I most likely would not buy this again. I purchased two of them for my company and after about 5 uses, one of them doesn't work anymore. Poor quality. 2works Using it with a Plantronics savi 740 headset it does actually work, but the mute button seems to mute the receive instead of the talk volume. Which is odd. But its a moot point since the headsets all have an easier to use mute feature anyhow.I like it. I started my own company and found that the $19.99 headsets with no base actually work BETTER than the $200 ones, and this splitter works just the same as the ones that cost close to $500. I spent less than I owuld have on two headsets with baeses and got 9 headsets and 2 splitters like this to train callers on. Very impressed. 5
