    Good for camera but that's about it.If used for it's intended purpose it's probably fine and deserves a higher rating. I'm using it to connect other items to a sling and 1/2 to a 1" longer loop would make this truely universal. 3Great clips to open up strap optionsI did not love the look of the nylon tails dangling off of most of the camera straps available, and the straps I did love had clips that wouldn t work for my camera. I grabbed these adapters and they ve been a great buy. They fit multiple clips from different straps that I ve tried, and I now can look at straps based on their aesthetic, without having to worry about their clips.I have a Canon EOS Rebel SL3 5Small, Flexible and StrongI got these loops along with OP/TECH USA Swivel Hook Connector and an OP/TECH USA Pro Strap - Black because I wanted something that was comfortable and could also be easily removed from the camera. I don't like to have a strap permanently connected to my camera body, and this turned out to be a great setup to solve this problem.These loops are very strong and well made. The material and stitching is top notch. I trust them to hold my camera and a large lens without any problems.Fitting them through the hooks on my Canon T5i body was a bit tricky, it's a very tight squeeze. I folded the end of the loop and just pushed it through until there was enough to grab from the other side, then pulled it through. Using dental floss or some strong thread to pull it through is probably a better idea and will save you some time and frustration.I also purchased a set of OP/TECH USA System Connector Adapt-Its which are a small plastic piece that essentially has the same function as this product. I much prefer this product because the fabric allows these loops to bend out of the way. I found the plastic Adapt-Its to be a bit too close to the main power/mode dial on my Canon camera, and being inflexible there's no way to move them aside.These loops are the way to go in my book, I am going to order a second set and won't be using the Adapt-Its.Overall I am very happy with all the OP/TECH products I purchased and not have a very comfortable strap that can be quickly and easily removed. I hope this company continues to come up with innovative products like this. 5Too thick to fit through the bino eyeletsThe nylon strap material used is too thick and I could not get it to pass through the eyelet of my Vortex Razor binoculars. Bought a Vortex harness that included thinner strap pieces for the bino eyelets as I could not use the harness I had originally purchased for these binos. 1Pairs nicely with a Black Rapid strap.I purchased a Black Rapid RS-7 strap recently, but I still wanted use of my tripod connector, where the RS-7 attaches. These utility loops were the perfect solution, with these on the camera the RS-7's carabiner attaches to a loop on either side of the camera. I found that it works best attached to the left side, on the right it tends to get in the way if I'm shooting vertically.The loops themselves are very sturdy, and add about 2" of length each to a strap once snug. That extra length is a good thing when used with the Black Rapid strap, since it the strap is designed to attach to the camera bottom, about 2.5" below the camera strap connection points on a 40D body.My main gripe with these is minor - the fabric is very stiff, and won't lie flat when you're trying to thread them through the camera's connection points. While a single thickness would thread easily, a doubled thickness simply won't. I used a bit of thread to pull the loop through the connection point, but even so it was a bit tricky because the fabric kept wanting to turn sideways. These would be a /lot/ easier to use if they worked like a conventional camera strap, threading a single strand through and then securing that strand to the strap with a plastic length adjustment buckle. That's how the Tamrac N-11 - Backpack Camera Straps - Black work, but those end in clips rather than rings. I prefer the ring connectors of these Op/Tech Utility Loops because they're simpler and more secure. 4Four years later, ordering some more!I bought these for my EOS 60D when I got my Black Rapid strap. Worked so well I never gave them a thought for all these years. I just got an EOS R and realized I need some more!They work perfect for any strap with a clasp, so you don't have to leave it dangling around if you are doing tripod work. Route it like a necktie and it lays flat against the body. 5Nice product, takes some getting used to.Its very good. Thought they would be bigger, but fortunately they weren t.They do get in the way, but its something I can get used to.The install process was difficult on a camera like mine, Nikon D5600, because there so little space, but using the method on the video (pulling with a piece of thread) and a lot of patience, it worked perfectly.Side note: make sure you check where the outside thread is supposed to be before installing; the inside looks a little rough, and you don t want to have to reinstall this often. 5Very tight fit on Nikon 5600! But OK on other models.First, the product is excellent, well made. I have Nikon D90, D3400, and D5600 cameras. The D90 fit was no problem, D3400 had to flatten the braided cord, and with some stout tweezers was able to get the folded cord through. The D5600, extremely tight fit. Flattened cord (several times with flat anvil pliers) and was able to push it through with stout tweezers. But, I was really worried I might bust the strap pin out of the camera body. Wouldn't it look pretty to have to epoxy the strap pin back in on a Nikon! Not a problem with the purchased product, problem is with Nikon, and their strap dimensions getting smaller and smaller. 5Bummed...it did not fit the binocular harness.I ordered 2 pairs of the loop connectors to be used for my binocular harness and straps. The holes the loop connectors to be used on the harness hooks are too small: therefore cannot hook and move smoothly through the clip.I tried on both Allen and Zeiss harnesses. Very disappointed. 2Fits Sony a6000I purchased this to use with a Black Rapid Backpack Breathe Strap on my Sony a6000. I've used a BosStrap that connects to the camera neckstrap triangle ring and wanted to do the same with the Black Rapid to keep my tripod socket clear. Have only used it once for actual carry/photography so far, but it works as designed. 4
