    When your camera doesn't come with a neck strap... I want a neck strap, not a wrist strap, on my camera. My SONY came with two small strap adapters, which are perfect for use with whatever neck strap I might want. They are 1mm nylon - what if they break? I have been scouring the internet trying to find replacements (what do you even call them?) and OP/TECH has them! These are small enough to fit through the loops on my camera and my neck strap will fit through the plastic D loop. And OP/TECH makes all kinds of straps that can work with these adapters if you need them. I got a package of 4 of these little loops and will carry a couple with me when I travel. No more need to worry about a tiny loop breaking and making my neck strap useless. 5Amazingly Strong and unobtrusive. These things are amazingly tough and strong. They're also very light weight. So much so that, first time hanging my camera around my neck with them, I kept my hands under the camera "just in case". Reality is, I don't think I could break one of them if I wanted to. They're an excellent way to quick release your camera strap. Very unobtrusive also. Doesn't change the camera profile at all. 5strong, easy to attach, super thin These seem really sturdy, and they're very small. They never get in the way and they don't rattle or jangle. The cords are so thin I can thread them directly onto a camera's eyelets with no need for those jangley metal rings. I'd say these are best used with lighter modern mirrorless cameras (I have them on an Olympus PEN), but I've used them on my old Minolta 2 lb tank of an SLR and they feel perfectly secure there as well. Once you have them threaded onto your strappy stuff, you can switch quickly and easily between a neck strap and a wrist strap, which is why I got them. 5Does what it says.. If you have a ... Does what it says.. If you have a Sony RX-100 camera and want some flexibility to attach s wrist strap OR a shoulder strap OR no strap, then this is the only game in town. Be sure to buy the 1mm version for this camera.....1.5mm is too thick to get through the lug holes. 5Binocular strap attachment perfection. At last my search is over for a way to securely attach new straps to my binoculars. I have searched everywhere trying to find very small replacement straps and none of the companies offer small enough.These OP/TECH Mini Loops work perfectly. They are strong loops and the fasteners are good quality as well.OP/TECH USA 1301082 Mini QD Loops - 1.5mm - System Connectors 5Becareful, the nylon cord will fray over time My Fuji XT1 fell to the ground twice due to the cord being frayed. It worked well for about a year, but over time the wear will build up. Be sure to check your cords or replace it annually. 3great camera accessory and more secure than I was initially worried about I was initially worried that the buckles would disengage by accident or that the strings would not hold. I'm happy to say neither are problems. The buckles require deliberate intent and a lot of pressure before they actually disengage. I would say that it's extremely improbable if not impossible for them to open by accident. The strings are also extremely strong.I use these for several Fuji mirrorless cameras. It really takes the pain out of detaching your straps when you don't need them (such as when you use your camera around the home). As you know, having a camera strap on can be a liability at home when you're picking them up off of a table or from a shelf. I've had straps get caught on things yanking the camera out of my hand multiple times. Now I just keep straps off when I'm not outside.I would caution you to check them regularly with the new Fuji mirrorless cameras. These new Fujis have a serviceable ring inside the lug holes which have a seam on them. The edge is potentially sharp and could hypothetically sever the strings if there was enough of a sustained sawing motion. I haven't seen this personally yet, but there are quite a few Fuji forum members who have warned about this. I don't recall ever seeing a true reported case, so this is largely speculation and paranoia i suppose! 5False Sizing!! Cord diameter is NOT 1.5mm Cord diameter is NOT 1.5mm as claimed in the item listing. You can not trust this item to hold your stuff. The strength of this item is way less than you are led to believe (one third as strong). That means that you can not trust it. The company is misrepresenting this product which leads you to wonder about all of their products. Instead of making this product with the 1.5mm cord the company they repackage the 1mm cord version and put in a card that says the cord is only 1mm in diameter. 1I absolutely love these connectors. These connectors are a must for those of us who like to take the straps off of our binoculars and cameras. If you are like me you often times do not like a strap hanging on your binoculars unless it is necessary. These connectors are perfect for they are small, easy to use, and surprisingly tough. My only qualm is that they are kind of hard to put on the strap but once you learn how it is not difficult. I later got them for my Nikon 5600 camera and I love the way I can easily take off my strap to put the camera away in it's case. 5Great quick detach mount for my DSLR camera strap I use these for my Nikon d800 and attached my l camera strap to it and it holds my camera just fine. I was a little worried that when I attached my 80 that 200 mm lens that it was going to be too much weight and maybe the snaps would come unclipped. But it held together just fine and I even tugged on it before I just let it hang there around my neck and it worked great. You get two sets for under $6 what more can you ask for. 5
