    XL size fits my iPhone 6S with a big OtterBox Defender case on it.I have the OtterBox defender case on my iPhone 6s and this Nite Ize X-Large Sideways case has enough room for it. I also have the OtterBox plastic belt clip for the Defender case but prefer having the phone inside the Nite Ize. I was always afraid I would hook the phone on something with the plastic clip and the phone would come loose. I used a Nite Ize (large) for my iPhone 5 for several years without a problem. I had 2, one for dress and the other for working around the farm. I expect the quality of this XL case to be the same and am happy with it. 5Poor velcro life. Excellent holster clip.After 30 months, the velcro's holding ability has degraded considerably. I fell yesterday and my phone came completely out of the holster. The holster flaps were velcroed together before the fall. Months before the fall, I tried TWICE to clean and revive the velcro loops and fuzzy part as per several YouTube clips on the subject of velcro revitalization. The velcro is still weak at holding together.In addition, the leatherette / vinyl skin along length the bottom 1/4" edge of holster has flaked away leaving the Hester's base fabric exposed. While this does not impact the function of the holster, it degrades the cosmetic looks of the unit.On the positive side, when new, the velcro held and functioned perfectly. The belt clip on the holster is THE BEST holding of any holster I've had of the 6 other brands of holsters I've owned. The holster will NEVER come loose from your belt. 3Nice, but would be better with magnetic closureI would give this 5 stars, but for the hook and loop (Velcro) closure. It's fine for most occasions, but if you're in a quiet meeting at work and your phone buzzes, you hear RRRIIIIPPPP!! as you open your phone case. Other than that, I really do like the belt clasp. I replaced my old case because the clip was digging into my pants and causing a hole. The clasp on this case tucks back in so there's nothing to rub against your clothes. Pretty well built and lots of room for a Galaxy S7. 4Perfect for the iPhone 6s with a case on it.Perfect for my iPhone 6s with the Anker ToughShell case with GlassGuard+ screen protector. I owned one of these cases for my iPhone 5s but when I upgraded to the iPhone 6s, I needed to upsize it too. Remembering how long that 5s lasted, after buying numerous other brands, I hoped that NiteIze made one for the 6s. I was ecstatic when I found out that they did. I wasn't sure if I should get the Large or XL size case because according to NiteIze compatibility chart (assuming the 6s is the same size as the 6), it would fit in the Large fine. But since I was using a case, I wasn't sure if it would be too tight to pull out of the NiteIze case is I did get the Large size. I asked here on Amazon for some feedback and some nice people did reply for my request for the information. So, I took the plunge and just ordered the XL. I'm glad I did. If anything, there is plenty of room on the inside for adding your credit card and whatnot. The width of the case compared to the 6s, is perfect due to the elastic stretching. It is easy to pull the 6s out of the car, once you get your fingers around the phone of course. I am really glad that NiteIze came thru with a case that was big enough to accommodate my new iPhone 6s. Oh btw, the belt clip is awesome. It has never unclipped off my belt nor have I ever lost my case due to it. 5because I liked it so muchI have a major problem with the fact that the sizing listed on the packaging suggests this is the largest size made. I already owned one, but the size isn't listed on the product. So when I went back to the store to buy another, because I liked it so much, they were sold out. I found them on Amazon, the packaging had the "Large" size pictured as the largest size. I ordered it, and sure enough it was significantly smaller than my other one. To the point that I couldn't use it for the things I wanted. I quickly looked on Amazon again, and had to dig to find the next size up (not listed under the same product), "Extra Large" which also seems to be labeled on the packaging as the largest available (via a size graph). I wish it wasn't too much of a hassle to send this stupid thing back. 3Solid attachment and comfortableThis is the second Nite Ize clip case I have had. The first one was the Executive model with trim around the flap; that trim had begun to peel away and the hook-and-loop fastener no longer stayed secured. This one is the nylon case, but otherwise identical. I love the belt clip; I can clip it over a belt or on shorts without a belt and never worry about losing it. It stays in place. I do have to remove my belt to take it off easily, or struggle a little when taking it off my shorts, but I would rather have that than the case slipping off at the slightest bump, which I have had with other brands. I highly recommend this case; it fits my Galaxy 9 with an Otterbox case perfectly. 5LOVE these casesI am really rough on my smartphone cases - I drive a LOT and am right handed, so I wear the phone on my left side and constantly getting in and out of the vehicle puts a lot of wear and tear on my phone case. Most cases over the years have lasted me 6 months, if I'm lucky. These Niteize cases are lasting me 2-1/2 to 3 years, which is astounding considering the amount of punishment they get on a regular basis. LOVE these cases! 5PERFECT for Galaxy S7 in Hybrid Case. RELIABLE C clips will not fall off beltHere are my Internal measurements of this holster:5-1/2 " long X 3-1/16" wide X 3/4" depth.My phone case is a typical hybrid case, two layers, bought on amazon: Galaxy S7 Case, Moment Dextrad Built-in Kickstand . The Galaxy S7 in the case has these dimensions:5-3/4" long X 3" wide X 7/16" depth.This means that the elastic sides of the holster must stretch 1/4" to accommodate the length of the S7, just enough stretch for the elastic to keep the phone in place with a snug fit. There is room inside for some credit cards or money if you chose to do that.The best feature of this holster is the high-quality C-clip that CANNOT fall off your belt, even with bending over, kneeling, or squatting. And this is better than having belt loops. because I do not have to take my entire belt on to add or remove this holster.One small CON: this has a velcro closure instead of a magnet - so it makes a small velcro noise when opened. That might be important if you attend many business meetings and repeatedly take your phone in and out of the holster.I am attaching 6 photos to show the excellent fit for the Galaxy S7. 5You can't go wrong with this case.This is the second NiteIze sideways cell phone case I've purchased. I looked for this case explicitly, because I got so many miles out of my last case - which was for a much smaller phone (Motorola RAZR Maxx). That case - even after 2 years on of daily wear & tear - is still in great shape; so I was pretty happy to find they made one to fit my new Note 3. I fully expect this case will outlive my use of the phone, just as the case for my RAZR has. The only thing I don't like - and this is personal - is the Velcro closure. I'd prefer a magnetized one, so I could open the case silently (movies, meetings, etc). But - that clearly wasn't a big enough deal to not get this case. I like the horizontal lay of the phone - especially with a monster like this Note3; but ultimately, it was the belt clasp that's the big win here: it works extremely well. I blew through a couple different similar cases w/ my RAZR because the belt clasp couldn't withstand much abuse. It clips on & off, so you don't have to thread your belt through it, and it's a sturdy unit. Add that to ripstop nylon construction, strong hook & loop closure, smooth interior plus the bonus hidden pocket ... and Amazon's great price? You can't go wrong with this case. My phone lives in a Caseology case, and still fits nicely within this NiteIze belt case. 5No better caseNo better case on the market. Previous one lasted 3 years before I had to replace it due to being worn out. No one is tougher on a phone case than me. I'm an AC contractor and beat any case or phone I own dailey. Just construction the nature of the business I quess. If you're looking for a long lasting case, it's definitely up to taking a beating. PS my old case still has a functional clip, just the material was worn out. 5
