    Not for phones over 5.5 inches tall Advertising copy on Amazon says the item is Extra Large size, will "FIT EVEN THE LARGEST PHONES." These statements are false. The small Velcro patch on the closure flap will adequately secure only on phones 5.5 inches high or shorter. Neither my Motorola e5 Play nor my older Motorola 3Gen will secure in this pouch.Reputable sellers give dimensions of their product. This seller does not. The advertising copy touts the plastic clip on the rear of the pouch, but all pictures are of the front.My time alone is worth more than the $13.50 I would recover by returning this item. I will certainly remember Nite Ize and buy no more of their products. 1Dependable Been using this brand holster for years ever since I found my first one at a truck stop. I'm on my 3rd cell phone holster in Niteize brand. Each one lasted through 3 phones each with life left in them, only reason for getting new ones was my phones kept getting bigger, and eventually wouldn't fit, so I had to get bigger ones. I actually broke the belt clip/swivel on three other holsters before I got this one order and received this go round. One of the ones I broke was the otterbox that came with the phone. I'm just as hard on the niteize as I am on all the other cases, but their rugged build holds up where all others fail. I also don't have to guess at the dimensions and a sizing being the right fit. I just email the company, tell them which phone I bought, if I put a shell case on it, and they tell me which one to order. Some companies give external dimensions rather than internal so measuring doesn't always get you the right one. 5Convenient protective case I have had cases like these, and find them convenient and safe for a phone. The only problem I have with this case is that it will not fit a Samsung Galaxy s7 with an Otter Box case. This is the fourth case I have ordered that was said to accommodate my cell phone and its protective case, and each was too small. I f you have a cell phone without an Otter Box case and e=want case that will stay on your belt and offer protection for your phone, I suggest you order this case, 5An MRAP for your Cell Phone - short of an IED, this will keep your phone save and on your belt Armored Carier for your Galaxy S7. I've used this case for all my phones since I ran across it years ago. Built like a bulletproof vest, it has velcro that won't let your phone get knocked out of the case and a belt look design that keeps it from coming off you belt - until you take it off. I'll pull your pants off before letting go of the belt. If you are an outdoors guy or a worker who want's to keep your phone well protected and safe, this is it. 5Great for large phones Best phone holster. Hands down.You can feel the durability in it as you pick it up, when compared to other phone holsters. It feels similar in quality to real government issue MOLLE pouches (what the military uses).I have a Moto E, with an otterbox defender case on it, and it slides in perfectly to this holster (when you have a holster, obviously you want your phone to slide in and out easily).So if you have a large phone that is hard to find a holster for, then this is it. You can also go up a size too if you want; look up the "Nite Ize phone holster XXL" and you'll find the plus size version. 5Very sturdy, yet too hard on clothing This item is EXTREMELY sturdy and well made. (I cannot comment on the durability of the Velcro because I couldn't use the product). While trying it out I almost tore the seams in my waistband getting it on and off. Jeans might be less likely too tear, but also thicker and likely to break a fingernail! (I'm a woman so that's a consideration). Returning it. 4Good fit for iPhone 6 with LifeProof Fre with perhaps a little room to spare, nice and tough First phone case, since just got an iPhone 6 after having a cheap Tracfone. I have a LifeProof Fre case and the phone is a snug but easy fit and the flap folds over and holds securely. I feel that it does a very good job of protecting the phone and is the third case I purchased before I found one large enough for the iPhone 6, glad we did not get the 6 Plus. The other cases all said they were large and should fit my phone, but it was not even close. The Nite Ize is much better quality than the other cases I tried. The belt clip is rugged and feels secure on my belt in an active work environment. For my purposes it is just right and feels tough and durable. 5Great case with lousy "velcro" (UPDATED) I haven't found anything else as good as Nite Ize cases. The cases themselves are very durable. The clips will absolutely not let go of your belt. This is important to me as I have narrowly avoided running over my phones with farm equipment when they came unclipped from my belt and fell off the back of the tractor. This case fits my Galaxy S6 Active very well, and after a year, it still looks good. I specifically wanted this case, because I HATE the swivel hook. Because of the swivel design, it is not attached to the case as well. I have ripped the swivel hooks off (told you I'm rough on my phones). I've never had a fixed hook fail. It REALLY annoys me that the swivels are all you can find anymore, because I really do hate them. I was glad to find this one. This is a very sturdy case.HOWEVER! The "velcro" doesn't hold up, especially not to smart phone use. With my earlier flip phone cases, I didn't have the phone in and out as often, so the lousy, cheap hook-and-loop stuff didn't wear out as fast. I've had this case less than a year, and the "velcro" (I put it in quotes, because actual Velcro is a good deal sturdier) looks like a cat scratching post on the way to the dump. It only barely holds the flap down, so even though I'm confident in the clip, I'm less sure that the flap will keep the phone in. I'd hate to see a $600 phone destroyed because Nite Ize wanted to save $0.12 by using "velcro" instead of Velcro. I'm considering doing some detailed dismantling and sewing to see if I can replace the cheap stuff with actual Velcro. It's a great case, and worth the effort. I just wish Nite Ize had thought so.UPDATE: 11-6-2017: I have bought a replacement case, and evidently Nite Ize has upgraded the hook&loop pads they use. The new case has gone for almost a year, and the "velcro" is still quite capable of holding the flap closed, and doesn't look as frayed as the previous case did after the same amount of time. I've upped the stars from 3-4. It would be 5, but for the previous case, its lousy "velcro" and no certainty that the cases anybody else gets might have the same problem. 4Everything is great except the way the scratchy velcro is sewed to ... Everything is great except the way the scratchy velcro is sewed to the case. It is only stitched on the edges of the square piece of velcro. pulling the flap away as one does to open the case has ripped 3 sides of the stitching after just 3 months of use. Not a quality product if it can't be used every day for at least a year! 1Great iPhone 6 holster. This Nite Ize cell phone belt holster is great for a iPhone 6 with a slim case. This case is very durable. I wear this on duty belt everyday and has taken a lot of abuse. My only complaint is that the velcro closure begins to stop working after several months. I fixed this by adding more velcro. 4
