Good fit and finish. Perfect replacement for what I had. Original was plastic and broke. This is all metal and much more sturdy. I will but again when the others start to break. 5Falls apartThe coiled hinges on the side easily slip off. As I was inserting it into the light box. The round cover slipped from the hinge and fell to the ground shattering glass all over the place. Took an hour to clean up the shards. Take the glass out, just incase. Once the hinges are inserted into the light recheck if the hinge is stilll secured on the side - then reset the glass and push up. Glass was very heavy and in my opinion should be plastic especially for a shower cover.3easy to install, looks great not much to say ... easy to install, looks great. no worries. 5Decent cover had issuesWe repainted our bathroom and needed to replace the shower light, I purchased this one based on reviews. The cover is quite nice, the glass quite heavy however, upon opening the package I noticed that the glass was not properly seated in the ring, instead one side was not under the tab used to hold the glass and the class had a chip in the side. I was able to fix the glass and get it in the appropriate spot but it did take a bit of working on it.It was easy to seat in the light can and looks nice.Overall decent value short of the defective issue.3perfect fit We used this to replace the trim for an outside light (porch ceiling). The glass didn't match the existing, but it popped out easily so we used the new trim with the old glass. Looks great and installed in no time. 5Fit perfectly! We needed a replacement light cover for our shower light and this one is great quality and fit perfectly. Highly recommend. 5Much Better than the OriginalThis was a replacement for one of the plastic clip version covers on our can lights. Unfortunately, the plastic will become brittle over time and eventually break leaving the rest of the cover worthless. This one should last indefinitely being of metal construction. Product is better than the original used by builder, metal replaced plastic parts which melted. 5Exactly what I needed, so easy to installThis is exactly what I needed to replace an open recessed lighting trim piece outdoors. My neighbors smoke like chimneys outside all day and it was blowing in the open trim and getting in my walls and subflooring. This may not stop it entirely but it will mitigate the issue. I made sure to use an LED bulb (incandescent bulbs could be too hot but I don't know) beneath this cover since it's a closed design. There is a nice seal on this cover and it sits nice and flush with the ceiling. Couldn't be easier to install. I'm so happy I found this; the price was super agreeable; it looks better than the old open trim; and it should keep bugs out as well. The trim feels like metal so it could eventually rust but it's designed for showers so hopefully that won't happen too soon. Even if it does though, the cost is low so I wouldn't think twice about replacing with another.5Perfectjust what i needed. fit like a glove (make sure you measure your light can properly). easy install, sturdy and a perfect match for my old 1980's broken , brittle old trims. good price!5Easy and DurableI bought three of these to replace fixtures original to the mid-80s home we recently purchased. One for the shower, the porch and the kitchen. All of the original fixtures had broken or cracked glass and the trim had been painted over.These new fixtures look great and are excellent value at under $10 each. I also like the feature where there are small lips holding the glass plate inside the fixture, so it doesn't just drop out if you have the fixture out and turn it on its side or upside down. The Lexan trim doesn't look cheap and cheesy for being a type of plastic, and won't rust like the old metal fixtures did, a pretty important feature in fixtures used in high moisture areas such as a kitchen, bathroom and porch.5Better than expected!I was searching for a replacement for the cheap all-plastic ones (you know the ones that the tabs that hold the spring clips break when you have to replace the bulbs). These are ALL METAL and the lenses are GLASS. Great product at a great price5right sizeThis is a good replacement for the original 70's style porch light. Only problem is the torsion springs are a little light; they bend too easy.3
