    Great flashlight, Red light doesnt work So I received my little larry flashlight today and I am absolutely in love with it. It is bright and the magnet is very strong. The 3 star review is because the red light doesn't stay on when I click to it. It turns on for a split second then just turns the flash light completely off. A little disappointed because I was going to use that feature if I ever broke down on the side of the road to warn cars but I guess I will just be using the flashlight part. I might try to get a hold of the company about a replacement. 3Not waterproof, and the magnet is disappointingly weak Great light, very bright. Water got inside after being submerged for 5 minutes in 3' of water. After thoroughly drying it out it's fine again. The magnet is a huge disappointment. I expected at least an N40 or N50 neodymium type. It can barely hold up it's own weight when attached magnetically to a vertical piece of steel (so the light is horizontal). This makes it far less useful than I had hoped. 3Unreliable! Bought it in Nov of 2018. Received it in Dec of 2018. Worked fine for a few weeks. Slowly began to malfunction. Now it is basically worthless. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I can cycle between red flash, low, and bright. Sometimes I can only get one more to work. Very frustrating product. Would not recommend. 2DO NOT BUY. So disappointed. It broke after 2 months. It would get stuck on and you would have to keep clicking and clicking to turn off. And same thing when it was off, you would have to keep clicking and click to get it to turn on. Such a pain when you needed light quick. The light started out bright and slowly because very dull. They make it sound so great but it s cheap and disappointing. A waste of money. Try to find something better than this. You will be disappointed quickly and wish you didn t spend the money. 1Works well but... I love this little light. I'm a techie, so I'm always opening up workstation/cabinets and fixing the compenents within (mostly PC's and presentation devices). Having a magnetic light is great. And in the event that there isn't metal to stick to, I can always lay it down and there's plenty of light to see.It is an amazing little light. Battery has lasted since purchase (over 2 months now). It is heavy, so take that into consideration when you are thinking about your use, but the magnet is strong enough to support it no mater where you place it.The negative...I wish they would clearly advertise the multi-click functions. Right in the title of the light!!! I just wanted an on and off light in this particular style, and I thought I had found one in the NEBO. NEBO has many lights in this style, but apparently this model (Lil Larry) does have the 3 clicks to turn off "feature". I was trying to avoid that and maybe I missed it in the description but it is not a feature I need. 1 click on, 1 click low, 1 click flashing red light, 1 click off.But I won't remove a star because of my own oversight. NEBO Does make a light, similar to this, but not has bright, that does on-off only. I wanted to the bar light style... just not without the 3 clicks. 5Broken after 1 year =( I bought this light in April 2017 and sits on my desk next to my computer at home. I've used it 2-3 times when I need to do some network stuff under my desk and it worked great. Today I tried it again and it was fine, until I cycled through each mode (1. bright white light, 2. dim white light, 3. flashing red, 4. off) till it turned off, but it is now stuck on the red light but solid instead of flashing. I assume there's a problem with the logic board but I'm a bit upset that while inside a air temperature controlled room this lil guy failed after 1 year. 2Perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for person in your life!!! Bought this (and the Big Larry worklight) as Christmas gifts for my brother. These are the only gifts EVER, EVER,EVER that he has thanked me for. That's saying a lot!!!!!!!**EDIT** The magnet did not stick to metal at all, not even a little bit. It slid right off the metal and BROKE. Needless to say we were both disappointed. Thought this thing was supposed to be fairly tough? Maybe this one was a dud? Anyway, Amazon was very responsive and issued replacement immediately. Great customer service!!! 4Lil Larry to the rescue The reviews are correct. Top quality. But this is really a short story. I was crossing the bay after dark. My 360 degree navigation light failed. Ahead I could make out a police boat. I pulled my lil Larry from my bag and clipped it to my Bimini top. While not 360 degree as required it was bright and the officials were satisfied. They broke off pursuit after they saw my Lil Larry "stern ligh"t. Whew! 5EXCELLENT Item EXCELLENT product to carry in every car. I have bought 3 now. LED us super bright, 2nd click is a lower brightness, and 3rd click is a safety RED off-on blinking light you can put on your trunk with the magnet built into the unit. I am buying 4 more for my daughters and their husbands. Very good product. 5Cleverly Designed Flashlight I've already seen a knock-off version of this at Wal-Mart. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Disperses a bright field of white light across a substantial area. I illuminate the top of my bureau-dresser with it. It's handy magnetic base allows me to stand it on-end, using an oversized metal washer as it's base. I find I can save $ by using re-chargable AAA batteries as it does seem to drain them quickly. 4
