    Doesn't Work as a CD Player & Alarm Clock Combo! We bought this when our former CD player alarm clock combo bit the dust. That one was no longer available. The whole objective is to allow my daughter to fall asleep listening to meditation a CD and wake to a buzzer. Seems logical, right? This combo won't allow the buzzer to alarm if the CD function was used. As far as I'm concerned, the alarm is useless and this is a way overpriced CD player. I had to buy my daughter a separate alarm clock. What a waste of money! 1When the radio is being played, the station id ... When the radio is being played, the station id numbers show where the time for the clock shows when the radio is off. There is no way for both to show at the same time. Also, in the instruction booklet there were instructions for setting both alarms but no specific instructions for setting just the time for the clock. In attempting to set the time, I was able to get the minutes to go forward, but the hour got stuck on 3:00 a.m. and I could not get it to go forward. Very disappointed/. 2Love it ExcellentGreat cd radio alarm clock . Rea lly nice , it also has nice sound considering it is an alarm clock, but it is good.It is very easy to set up. We are happy we wake up with cd music then easy to change it to radio, FM or AM.On the other hand , it has a soft light at night . We love it. And this kind of alarm clock its very difficult to find. 5Great Value! Bought as a gift for mother-in-law and she loved it. Easy to set up. I like how it's easy to change how bright the clock is. Takes getting used to but overall the functionality and style for the price is great. 5the sound could be just a bit better. Also This radio serves its purpose. However, the sound could be just a bit better. Also, better instructions. Took me forever to figure out how to turn the radio on for just 30 minutes with auto shut off. I would probably make this purchase again as the price was good. 4Multifunctional, but definitely not multiuseful I bought it to put me to sleep at night, tell me the time when I woke in the night, and wake me with the news. Turns out it's impossible. If you've turned on the CD function, you will only see the track playing (or the last track played). If you've turned it on the radio, you will only see the numerals of the radio station. If you've pushed the clock function, you'll see the time, but not be able to listen to the CD or radio. You can pre-set a station on AM or FM, but only one. If you try to pre-set a second station, you lose the first. It allows only one pre-set. Good radio reception, good CD playback, but definitely does not work as a combination. Because the volume control and the alarm setting buttons are multi-functional, if in the night you attempt to turn down the volume on the radio/CD player, you may be turning off the alarm by which you intended to awaken. Oh, yes, the manual does not tell you how to set the time. You must interpolate the time setting instruction from the instructions on how to set the alarms. The manual is not a document you can glance at and set any of the functions quickly and easily. 3Four Stars It is working fine,, has nice sound and fairly easy to use. 4Great clock but it stopped working I love the way the alarm goes off. It goes off softly and then goes louder. I also like that the off button was not close to the snooze button. I bought it 11 months ago and it stopped working. 4The one good thing is the sound is pretty good for such ... Unfortunately, this is not comparable to the dream machine from Sony which I had before and gave up on me. I mostly use this alarm/radio/CD for going to sleep with a soothing CD and waking up with the same. It seems to me that it is more favoring radio listeners because the default is radio. Therefore, before I want to play a CD I first have to press two action buttons, then when the CD is played it stays on CD showing the last number of the songs instead of going back to the clock. So, when I wake up in the night, I can't see what time it is. Due to the default setting, the alarm doesn't go on because I set it on CD playing. Sorry, but I have to return the item.The one good thing is the sound is pretty good for such a little cheap radio/clock/CD player. 2Directions incomplete and/or non-existent for several functions. Can't get some operations to work at all (if I have the cd player in operation as "sleeptime" music...I can't get the time display to work. Sound is adequate. I bought this in a hurry as it advertised the features I was looking for, but did not read previous reviews. So sorry I did not take a few more minutes with my purchase. 1
