    Actual size of phone and case that fits.This works with phones and cases that are between 2-3/16" to 3" wide, and 9/32" to 1/2" deep. I have been looking for a armband for my girlfriend's phone and I wanted one that fit with her case. Unfortunately this one doesn't work for her Samsung Galaxy S5 with case, which is 3-1/8" by 1/2". I didn't see any information in the description of the sizes that fits so I hope this helps the next buyer. 3Wish it lasted longer.I really like the design of this but it just doesn't hold up. This is on my second unit, the first I bought on clearance at sun and ski sports. It lasted about 3 or 4 months til the velcro fell apart. The one I got from amazon basically did the same thing, the material just doesn't hold up. Good design, poor execution I guess. 2Could Not Find A Strap Tension That Was ComfortableI do not have big arms, but I do have actual biceps and triceps. Meaning, the very top and bottom portion of my upper arm are smaller diameter than the middle of my arm. So, when I tried to find a strap tension that would not be too tight on my arm, this carrier would eventually slip down and get looser and looser as it moved off my bicep. I tried to place the strap at the top of my arm, but that ended up annoying my arm pit area.In a nut shell, I could never find a strap tension that was tight enough to hold the carrier in place without cutting off blood flow. Of, if I had the strap loose enough to allow blood flow, the carrier moved down my arm.I tried this carrier about 4 or 5 times with short sleeve and long sleeve shirts and could never find a way to use it comfortably.I was using the carrier with an iPhone 5s in a LifeProof Fre case. The carrier looked well designed and manufactured and the phone did not slip in the carrier at all. It was a bit difficult to get the carrier side grips around the LifeProof case, but it did fit well once it was in.If you are wondering, I also had the same problems with the LifeProof iPhone 5s armband that was made for the LifeProof case. 1Perfect ArmbandWas not initially thrilled about this armband because of how bulky it looks. However, when wearing it, it is not as bulky as I expected it to be. The phone (my current phone is an iPhone 6S) definitely stays secure in it, with a lightweight case on it. Unlike my previous armbands that the phone slipped inside of, I don't have to take the case off of the phone in order to use the armband and my phone does not get all nasty from sweating (disgusting, I know). It also has a cool feature which I did not realize where if you need to take the phone off during a workout you do not have to remove the entire band or struggle to free the phone - the bracket slides out of the armband with your phone in it. 5Poor choice for meI ended up returning.Good:Really did hold my iPhone 6 securely while in a Rokform case.Not good:Armband did not stretch enough. This made it either too tight or too loose and slip.I got this because I thought it would be easier and faster to mount my phone and case in this than to take my phone out of its case and slip it into a slim/regular type of armband. Getting the phone/case into this clip is not very fast. This is the trade off for having it hold well.This holds the phone off your arm a small distance which would help protect it from sweat, but this also caused some bounce from the phone and made it feel heavier than it should. 2I'm glad to finally find something that could be considered "universal" ...This Nathan product works perfectly with my iPhone6 with a thin Spigen case I got from Costco. I'm glad to finally find something that could be considered "universal" that isn't based on the type of phone case. My previous Lifeproof case had a special armband that was designed for the iPhone 5s. I'm SO glad they have not produced an armband for the iPhone6 because I would have never known about this Nathan SonicMount. I'm ready to stop spending money on armbands EVERY TIME something is upgraded. This is the best armband for running or while biking that I've EVER had!! 5Small modification would make it the best3rd one I have purchased. The good: it stays in place, causes very little friction on the arm/lat area when running.The bad: the armband separates after about 30 washes. For a daily runner who sweats, that's basically every month.Here is my recommendation for product improvement to the manufacturer or someone with access to a sewing machine: use a running cross stitch along the edges of the band as well as one on the borders of the velcro. This doesn't cause more friction AND it helps keep the band from separating too quickly after being washed. Love that I can leave the case on while it's in the arm band.Can be tough to squeeze the phone into but I've gotten the hang of it.Have already suggested to friends and family. A+. 5Rubber Center Rips Apart!I want to love this but I've had the same issue twice. the rubber center that stretches to hold the phone breaks down too quickly and eventually rips apart. The concept is great because I don't have to take my iPhone out of it's case. I will not buy this product again. I only had this since January 2017 and now it's worthless. Same thing the first time. 1It's OT easy to get your phone in and then when it's ...It's kinda funky... It's OT easy to get your phone in and then when it's in your left wondering what if it breaks and my phone drops? What is really not rewarding is that since it feels so clunky, when you tighten the arm strap snug, it still feels loose and your circulation feels like it's getting cut off at the same time. It's not for me. I'll give it to one of my friends and hope they like it more than I. 2
