    Where s the lanyard hole?Description of product lists lanyard hole. My product arrived without any lanyard holes. I can t use it fishing without a lanyard hole. Item will be returned. 3It is ineffective.I need to adjust the spring - the one that keeps the jaws and handle open - every time i open the pliers. The spring is two pieces, and does not stay aligned. The last thing I need to worry about, when trying to deal with a fish or tackle, is my tool. The tool is supposed to make things easier - not more difficult. It takes two hands to use this one-handed tool. It is ineffective. 2Good set of fishing pliersI love these. Strong enough to pull hooks from a tautog mouth but still long enough to get it out of a gut hooked fish. 5Good quality pliersThese are solid quality stainless steel pliers, used for freshwater fishing in my own case. They've held up well, are thin enough to get down into even smaller fish if needed, and long enough for bigger fish. Great pliers for the price. 5Buy it twiceWorks great for delicately finessing a hook from a fishes throat. It also gives extraordinarily painful purple nurples. 5great for pulling weedsI have a lot of plants in large & small containers, including sharp cactus and breakable annuals. This is perfect for pulling weeds without damaging the plants. The only thing wrong with it is that the spring will not stay aligned and requires constant adjustment. 4Painfully awkward, slippery. Need gloves, sharpening, and redesign.Painfully awkward. Stick mostly closed even after adding more lubrication at the join. Heavy for size. Both handles and bite are slippery. Expect they'd be at the bottom of the ocean within 15 minutes. Could not cut 19 ga. steel wire without finding the exact right spot and using both hands (very easy with my other tools, but the cutters on these are blunt and/or don't align). Could never be used as a regular tool, only as a backup and definitely with gloves if you don't want to end up with a bunch of cuts and blood blisters. Heading to the hardware site for something better. I won't be carrying these with me.I don't remember the price offhand but I'll be returning them if they weren't cheap enough to just ignore.Probably wouldn't have bothered reviewing if Amazon didn't nag about reviews, but since I'm here now you get the whole rant. 1They remove deep hooksI have a pair if these in one of my tackle boxes... just not sure if it s the bass, Crappie or Trout box. So I bought a bunch for all the boxes and bags. 4Perfect for removing salmon bonesMy husband fishes in Alaska each year. He hates pulling the bones with his regular old pliers. These special Fisherman's pliers are perfect. We may buy more as gifts to the guys who fish with him. 5These are perfect for scorpion huntingThese are perfect for scorpion hunting, which is why I got them. I think I will make some kind of covers for the grips and it's nice that there is already a hole for a lanyard or wrist hold. I live somewhere very hot so when I opened the package, I got a bit burnt from being excited to use these.. They arrived on time and they are perfect for their purpose. 4
