    Date of manufacture The MSA hardhat is always far and above the competition. The only issue is the supplier. First I received just hard hat and no suspension insert. Then the replacement I received was manufactured in 2014 which is three years into it's five year life as seen by some safety experts. Otherwise this would have been a five star rating. 3Comfortable, durable, and looks good! Best Hard Hat Ever. I replaced my Bullard full brim hard hat with this MSA full brim hard hat and glad that I did. This MSA Full Brim Hard Hat is the best and most comfortable hard hat I have ever owned! I wear this hard hat around our grain drying operation and farming operations and hardly leave the office without it on my head now. I even carry it with me in my truck. Very comfortable and I like it because they offer earmuffs for this hard hat, that's not an option found on other full brim models, and they pop on and off in no time so I can use them when I want them and take them off when I don't need them. The MSA Fas-Trac III suspension is great and adjust to your head, I sometimes have to wear a full face respirator and this hard hat works great with that also. Very satisfied and when my other guys Bullard full brim hard hats need replaced they will get replaced with the MSA Full Brim V-Guard with Fas-Trac III suspension also! Besides the ear muffs I also purchased the extra sweat bands, these will be great for summer use. That is one complaint I had about the Bullard hard hat was that the sweat band did not come out and it was hard to clean. I have nothing bad to say about My new MSA Full Brim hard hat with Fas-Trac III suspension, it's great! 5Great buy! It s a great hardhat. The design looks like it s painted on and it shines in the sun. I m a little disappointed in the headband. It feels very cheap compared to othe hard hats I ve worn with ratcheting headbanUpdate: October 16, 2018 after using the hard hat for a while I d say that it s very comfortable and has held up well, but I would suggest being careful with dropping it on counters. I was going in for break and dropped the hard hat on the metal counter in my break area and chipped a bit of the finish off. 4I feel better now. My head takes a beating sometimes. I m a rock hound. What can I say....I keep this bump cap in my truck. 5Brim could be wider at the front, but they do the job. The brim could be a little wider (particularly at the front) and at first found the harness a little uncomfortable, but having "broken it in", it's fine. These slotted full-brom hard hats are rare as hens teeth (no idea why, non-slotted is easy enough to buy, but slotted is unobtainable) here in Australia, but the full brim is brilliant in Queensland's sunny weather and extension brims and earmuffs just do not co-operate. 4ITEM DESCRIPTION INACCURATE The description of this item "MSA 475367 V-Gard Slotted Full-Brim Protective Hat with Fas-Trac Suspension", obviously states that it includes the suspension but the hat arrived WITH NO SUSPENSION. 2plain grey hard hat. When I was shopping for hard hats this one stood out because in the picture it looks like it has an unusual design, which I liked. When it was delivered I noticed it's just a regular, solid grey hard hat with the old type of suspension. (Not the easily adjustable knob that you turn). The hard hat does its job and I kind of like the shade of grey. I just think the seller needs to upload more than 1 picture, so buyers know exactly what their ordering. 4Great hard hat Msa makes the best fitting hard hats out there. Arrived as described and fast 5Nice. Comfortable. Good Quality. I got this because my current standard company provided cap sits super high, and I actually hit my cap all the time. And I heard this one sits lower. So this one initially does sit a little lower, and I do like the full brim better. But I had to cut the seams of the cradle, and sew em back together. I made sure to make them plenty strong though. Probably better than before. Otherwise a good cap. 4PERFECT! Awesome hats for our volunteer project. Many volunteers will appreciate having these new hats to be safe while constructing a new center for pure worship and Christian education. Thanks for such a great price! 5
