Sturdy Very pleased with the purchase. Received help from the company with determining whether it would fit or not. Used it to mount a TCL Roku (200x150mm interface). Fit perfectly, easy installation. All the screws were labeled in separated compartments. The wall that it was installed on is a smaller wall and none of the studs are actually center but because the arm rotates I adjusted it so it still looks like the tv is sitting center. I am happy with my purchase and appreciate the help I received from customer service. 5Mounting Dream MD2379 TV Wall Mount Bracket with Full Motion Dual Articulating Arm Review We just moved into a new home and were looking for 2 TV mounts; one with a full motion arm one without an arm (see my other review for this tilt-only mount: Fortress Mount TV Wall Mount for 40-70" TVs up to 165 lbs with 9-feet Braided HDMI Cable ).Due to the low price point, I was concerned we would receive a lesser-quality of product. Boy was I wrong! This wall mount and I was shocked at the sturdiness of the product - it was exactly like the wall mount we purchased previously that 4 TIMES THE PRICE! There were easy to follow instructions and it we had it drilled and mounted within minutes.Should I buy another TV that needs a full motion arm, I will be purchasing this one! Mounting Dream MD2379 TV Wall Mount Bracket with Full Motion Dual Articulating Arm for most of 26-55 Inches LED, LCD and Plasma TVs up to VESA 400x400mm and 99 lbs with Tilt, Swivel, and Rotation 5Heavy duty at a reasonable cost This bracket is STURDY. If you're worried about getting a cheap piece of metal at this price, don't be. I mounted this on a brick fireplace with the provided concrete anchors and I thing i could do pull ups on this thing if I wanted to. Its a little tricky getting the TV level once its mounted, it just takes a little patience. As far as the tilt goes, You really have to crank down on those adjustment screws for it to hold, but it does hold. The swivel feature also works nice and smoothly with no problems. The recommendations say this supports up to a 55" TV, which is what I mounted, however mine is about 7 years old and heavier than today's 55 inch models. I have an older Vizio ( 553XVT ) that weighs about 75 pounds and it handles that with ease. 5The instructions are very easy to follow and it even gives you a level ... For the price this wall mount can not be beat. I bought this mount specifically because of the extra range of motion it had and also that can all be mounted on one stud. The instructions are very easy to follow and it even gives you a level and guide that you can tape on the wall for when you are drilling your pilot holes. The joints are a little stiff in motion but i don't mind it at all, i was able to adjust my tv exactly like I wanted and now its in place. You also get a HDMI cord and some velco straps to use to group your cords up as an added bonus.You will absolutely need to attach this to a stud in the wall. It is fairly heavy and will rip out of dry wall if you try to just hang it alone.Also measure where your mounting holes on your TV are and compare it with the picture on the item description. This is the perfect size for the TV I mounted but i have another 55 inch TV that it would have been too small for. 5Good TV Mount This is for a 55" TCL Roku TV (~ 30 lbs.). Once installed (into studs), it is quite strong. It could probably hold a much heavier TV, but I wouldn't recommend exceeding the ratings, as you need a 2-3x buffer for various reasons (positioning of TV horizontally, movement/extension of TV, time, etc.).Installation was ok. I was able to do it myself, but a helper can speed things up a bit. It could have used a little more leeway horizontally for mounting into studs, but the fact that you can slide the TV side-to-side on the mount made it work just fine as far as centering the TV. Just take your time to get it level (using a good level is helpful; the included one is just ok). It allows you to adjust the level slightly after mounting, but it's much easier to get it level right during mounting, plus it just looks better--more professional (not that you'll really see it though).It's in the bedroom, so I mounted it high and then tilted it down slightly for easier viewing. Fully retracted, the back of the TV is about 3" off the wall and the front is about 6". 4The Mounting Dream Full-Motion TV Wall Mount Was More Sturdy Than Anticipated First, Amazon did a fantastic job with the delivery. I ordered it on June 10, 2019, and I received it on June 12, 2019.As far as the Mounting Dream Full-Motion TV Wall Mount goes, I was skeptical since I never heard of the company before. Furthermore, I was looking for a full-motion TV wall mount that would support the weight of a Samsung 50" UHD TV (Model No. UN50NU6950F) on a single wall stud in the living room, and I certainly was unable to find a Sanus full-motion TV wall mount that would only utilize a single wall stud. However, after reading the product reviews of the Mounting Dream Full-Motion TV Wall Mount (in particular, Model MD2379), I decided to take a chance on it.With the large amount of meticulous preparation that I utilized, I was incredibly impressed on how simplistic the installation was. After doing the suggested test in the instructions to make sure the Mounting Dream Full-Motion TV Wall Mount was properly secured to the wall stud, I was able to easily mount the Samsung 50" UHD TV without the assistance of another person, and it managed to remain secure to the wall.Minor adjustments to adjust the horizontal alignment were made to make sure it was level on the horizontal axis, but overall, I was incredibly pleased with the installation.As far as future purchases go, when I get a 32" HDTV for the guest bedroom, I will definitely be purchasing another Mounting Dream Full-Motion TV Wall Mount for that project. 5TV corner wall mount that makes assembling so easy, I did it myself. This is the second tv wall mount I've purchased, both have been really easy to assemble, I was able to do them myself. I purchased this one for our living room tv I wanted to hang in the corner. The first one I purchased only had one arm holding the total weight of our tv and kept the tv at a tilt. Although it got good reviews and advertise it supported a tv of our size, our tv is on the high end of the products weight limit, leaving me with an uneasy feeling and wishing I'd done a bit more research. To easy my concerns, I decided to go with a mount that could hold a tv much larger than ours and had a more solid construction to the part that holds the tv to the mount. What I really like is that it has to arms holding the tv rather than one. The con of the two arm mount is the distance from the wall is a few inches less than a one arm mount and it's not as flexible or versatile as the one arm mount. That said, this mount is sturdy and it holds my tv straight up without a tilt, but can be tilted if needed. I have complete confidence that this mount can handle the weight of my tv and no longer fear it falling off.Assembling Pros & Cons.The pros - This one is really cool, because it comes with a template for hanging it on the wall and takes all the guesswork out of it for you. All you really have to do, is just find the middle of a stud and the template does the rest. Very simple instructions to attach the plate to back of tv, takes only minutes to do once you pick the right hardware from the options they provide.The cons - The only cons is the weight of the mount, being a woman with little upper body strength, this was the most challenging part and I don't recommend anyone doing it yourself. I'm stubborn, impatient and don't like to ask for help. Although I was able to do it myself, it would have gone much faster and smoother, if I'd had help with holding it in place and lifting tv to mount. The other con again is the wall distance it can be pushed out and it's not as flexible or versatile as a one arm mount.Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase, the price, quality and ease of use is excellent. I can with confidence highly recommend this TV wall mount it's a great product at a great price. 5GREAT PRODUCT FOR A GREAT PRICE!! I was blown away by some of the prices out there for a simple TV mount! This Mount is exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost!!! It arrived very quickly with Prime, and it required very few tools. They even give you a mini level inside of the box!! It did arrive in it's original box, so be aware if you are ordering as a surprise. My husband was able to put it up with very little effort, the instructions seemed clear and the product is nice and sturdy! Much more than I expected, given the price! I plan on buying another one or 2 for upstairs. Love that you can position it how you want it! GREAT BUY!!! 5Excellent TV Wall Mount I purchased this to mount our 3D 47" tv in the bedroom. I changed the mounting procedure just a bit. First I mounted a board between the studs in the wall. Then I mounted the TV mount to the board. After the mount is installed, simply have another person help to lift the tv onto the mounting bracket and use an alen wrench to tighten the tv mount down. It is good and strong, and handles a 50ib TV without a problem. I'm extremely happy with this product. 5Recommend Have researched these and checked local electronic stores for what's available and quality. Purchased this for 42" TV because of the design not knowing about the quality, but what a great product and easy to install. This compares to the units sold at electronic Express for $169. 5
