Do Not Buy - if wrist is smaller than 7.5" - Description wrong! If the company makes this right, I will change my review to 5 stars...I purchased this exact band a while ago and it came with two different size bands. I ordered directly from the previous order, and now it only comes with the larger band. I was very happy with my first purchase. Unfortunately they do not allow returns, yet this band is useless to me as it is too big. My wrist is exactly 6" - within the size noted in the description. Really, if your wrist is smaller than 7.5" do not buy. 1Excellent aftermarket band This is a rugged looking band for th he Gear Fit 2/Pro -- not for dress wear. One of the frustrating things about this fitness tracker is how easily both the original and after market bands separate from the tracker body. This band solves that problem by sidestepping Samsung's attachment method and just creating a secure pocket to hold it. It's a little bulkier than with a regular band but the benefits of not losing my tracker in the woods while hiking (or running or engaging in sports) far outweighs any unhappiness with the band's utilitarian appearance. I wear this band (and the c colors are not attractive enough to recommend getting anything but a single black band) any time I am doing anything strenuous and save more decorative ones for lighter use. The buttons are easy to use through the band but you will have to remove the tracker from the band to charge it. The closure is extremely secure, a big plus for active people, but a bit difficult to fasten until you get the hang of it. It's easy to over tighten it, but even adjusted correctly it will not fit the smallest wrists. Very nice and i highly recommend it. 5Good replacement! I had heard about the Samsung gear fit 2's straps coming loose and falling off but in the year I've had mine I think mine came off 3 times. My strap finally broke however and I was mortified to find out I couldnt get an original. Since the newer version came out other straps have come with a regular watch buckle but I liked the original so I chose this one. I'm really happy with it. It clips on the same, has a nice soft rubber feel and even has a little band to tuck the strap down to ensure your strap stays on. Oh and it came with two different size options which was great. 5Works Great Once you Get Things Fitting Correctly - Better Than Original Samsung Band It takes a little work to get things to fit properly (ex. breaking things in). But once you get the proper fit going I think this item actually works and feel better than the original Samsung band. From what I read of other reviews this band used to just snap right off. Apparently the company listened to feedback and included a plastic piece that fits over the strap so it can't accidentally come off (like a watch band)...it works great!My advice is to make sure you properly install the band to the Gear Fit2. It's not the easiest fit to get but I used something to give me leverage and to make sure it snapped on correctly. Once you get this properly on it is fantastic. The second thing to make sure of is to break in the holes that snap and hold the band together. It's a very snug fit at first and takes a little work, but again once the hole is broken in the band works great. No accidental snap offs and the band is actually more comfortable and feels better than the Samsung straps. 4Trash wrist band As you can see the band has come completely apart. The first night after receiving the band, my friend had to put it on for me because it was so difficult. That next morning I was standing looking in my mirror and the watch just fell off my wrist. The push tab and spring had fallen off. So. I had to get my eye glass kit to try and get the screw adjusted, but not all screws were removable and just cased me to strip the screw head. This was a waste of money. I wish there was a way to get a refund. Literally my first review on Amazon and its a bad one. Don't buy this wrist band y'all. The ones people got that work were exceptions probably. When you mass produce something consistency should be key. Thanks for reading. 1Bands CAN'T be removed once they're attached to the Gear Fit2 I just received my replacement bands for my Gear Fit2. They look great, and I like the option of having two different sizes. The main and biggest issue I have with these bands is that once you put them on, you can't remove them. I tried the same technique used to remove the original Samsung bands, and it DOES NOT work. I'm concerned that when I need to replace the bands again, I won't be able to get them off, which has defeated the entire purpose of buying replacement bands in the first place.Unless there's a different technique needed to be able to remove these bands, I'd suggest looking at other replacement bands. I'm not happy at all about the chance that my Gear Fit2 might get damaged if/when I need to remove these bands to replace them with something else. 2Gave me an allergic reaction This was perfect, exactly what I wanted. Until I started having an allergic reaction to the metal stud that is in the clasp.Update 8/10/2018: The seller has contacted me to apologise and issued a refund which I appreciate since the product is not as described in the listing.After providing the refund the seller asked me to change my review to 4 or 5 stars which I will not do since my opinion of the product has not changed. The seller maintains their claim that the product is hypoallergenic and nickle-free which is obviously false given my experience and similar ones from other reviewers. The seller even went so far as to suggest that my reaction was my own fault for wearing it too tight and not an allergy at all which is ridiculous since I wore the original Samsung band as tight or tighter for 2 years without issue. I know how my body responds when exposed to nickle and that is exactly what happened when I wore this product.Bottom line: Don't buy this product if you are allergic to nickle. It is not hypoallergenic or nickle-free. 1Nice replacement. Edited: They sent me a replacement band that actually works. Have been able to keep the band attached to the face and the band clasped around wrist and not once has it fallen off. YAHOO!! First one was just apparently a problem and isn't with them as a whole. Thank you for the wonderful customer service. And Thank you for providing a band that works as advertised.love the color, easy to switch with original one. But it won't stay latched on watch face. Constantly reattaching the band to the watch. and the clasp won't stay connected either. good thing there is a extra loop to keep band on so you have warning to reconnect clasp before it falls off. Will not purchase another one. 5You Get What You Pay For....Don't Buy Do not buy! One of them did not hook on to tell watch properly and the watch fell...three stories down! Thankfully the Gear Fit 2 survived! No matter what we tried, it did not hook to the watch. I will say I've been wearing the replacement for about 2 weeks and it's only came undone 2 times when it brushed up against something. The first one would just come undone on its own. I will say I'm not completely convinced but they have great customer service so I'm upgrading my rating***Update #2***I first purchased this product back on Jun 11, 2018. It is now Nov 15,2018 and I have been through 2 of these band sets. The company sent me a replacement from my first negative review. Neither one of them stay snapped in place and one of them completely tore of the mount. At this point even if the company sends me a lifetime supply I would no recommend this product to anyone. I am certainly not upset with the company but the quality just isn't there. this is known to be an action/fitness style band and these just done hold up. I wouldn't even consider myself rough on the product either. 2
