    Strong, easy to install, works great. I've purchased three of these for my three bathrooms. I installed them according to the template and I do not find that the spring is too strong for them. I think that's the way they should be installed. I've installed these with hollow-wall anchors on at least four posts because studs were not available where I wanted to place it. There are lots of different types of hollow wall anchors. These come with pop toggles which can be very strong. They use a bigger hole than I like, however. I like to use molly bolts for these. Just make sure you get the proper length for the width of your drywall. There are four holes on the mount. I use the holes on the top and the bottom. 5I wanted to love this But... I replaced a sink and faucet in my daughters bath. I was excited to change out all chrome accessories to ORB to match the new faucet. I really like the Sage orb set except the TP holder. After one heck of a time installing it, its OK. The spring coil in the brass roller is too strong. It made the end pieces too wide apart . If I tried to use the recommended spacing then I couldn't get the roller out easy. So I compromised. I used the ends at a normal space and used the white cheap roller from my old chrome holder. It doesn't show much as the roll of paper is white. Its on the side of a cabinet so it isn't really seen. I had no issues with the towel ring or bar install. This piece was disappointing. Its up there so its staying. 3Great quality, easy to install. What amazing quality. Really easy to install. Comes with a template that you can tape to the wall and then install the mounting plates. Perfect fit. Solid build. Look it is a toilet paper holder, one should not get that excited about it...but this is as good as it gets in terms of quality. Appearance of the rubbed bronze is also stellar. 5What a big fancy letdown It looks good but it's too wide and the included wall anchors are absolute garage. They are meant for drywall but what if you're mounting it to a wooden cabinet or literally anything other than drywall? The included popper thing snapped in half immediately. The middle bar is light weight compared to the holders and isn't exactly the same color. The whole thing is a disappointment. 2Looks nice, pretty simple to install I purchased this item around a year ago and have been pretty happy with it so far. The TP holder was easy to install; all you have to do is tape the instructions to the wall and then drill the marked holes. I would recommend that you drill this into existing studs or something wooden, because the spring inside the holder is pretty strong and will probably loosen if just secured into drywall with anchors. I used the other Moen accessories from this collection using the provided drywall anchors and about 50% of them have loosened over the past year, but drilled the TP holder into a wood vanity and have had no issues. 5Really pretty! Exactly what I was looking for. FYI, it's a little wider than a standard holder due to extra decorative inch on each side, you can tell in my picture. 5Great traditional toilet paper holder in Moen Sage style When remodeling bathroom I installed faucet and accessories from the Moen Sage collection. It looked very nice! The only problem was that I erred by about 1/16" when drilling holes for the pivot style toilet paper holder. I was not able to mount it right and I could not pull the anchor and move it just a little bit. The holder was wobbly.Fortunately I found this holder. I switched over in less than 5 minutes and it fits very well and matches rest of the Sage accessories. 5Good Product But DO NOT Use Included Placement Template Looks good. Easy install. I did NOT use the template based upon other reviews; I concur that its screw placements are too close together. I put the screws just under 8" apart so it's secure and the middle rod is easy to remove. Just install one end and test out the placement/tension before installing the other end. (I also used my own drywall anchors though it was nice of Moen to include some.)I also agree that the rod is longer than your standard toilet paper roll so the roll will slide side to side on the rod. This doesn't affect functionality in but may bother some customers. I'm okay with it but I would have preferred it shorter.The Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is consistent with its other products (rods, robe hook, etc.). I would have given it five stars if the rod was shorter and the template measurements were accurate. 4This has a spring-loaded tube, NOT a pivoting arm (I made a mistrake, but it's ok) I bought three of these at Lowes to fit those pesky, annoying "mega" sized rolls of t.p. The ones I got were "pivoting," which I thought was awesome. No spring-loaded roll tube. My wife fell and knocked one of the pivoting ones off the wall, so I thought I'd order it online. I didn't specify pivoting, so I got this one. Same make, same finish, just not pivoting. The Moen Sage holders are awesome because they're wider and hold any size roll. If you don't mind the "spring" roll holder, this is a good deal. If you want pivoting, it's more $$$, but I prefer that model. 5Overly Wide We outfitted a whole bathroom in the Sage pattern, so we were stuck with this roll holder. However, as roll holders go, this one could be better. My primary problem with it is that it's very, very wide. Overall, I'd say it's about half-again as wide as a roll of paper, and the roll slides back and forth.As far as quality, construction, etc goes it is typical Moen. Installation was easy using the included template to drill the holes. The mount is solid and the spring is quite strong. 3
