I wish the belt pack rain cover had a tether because it could easily fly away or get lost when accessing the belt pack in stormy weather. It is an extra thing to carry separately an space is lost in the pack because of this. For such a great backpack design, this is a definite flaw in its design. 3Perfect daypack for mirrorless camera systemThis is a fantastically well designed bag. I bought it when planning for a walking tour of Scotland and I needed a daypack that would allow me quick access to my camera gear, provide weather protection sufficient for 8+ hours in steady rain (I bought the optional rain cover as well), and have enough space for rain gear and lunch. It met those needs and then some.The bag is very well made and held up to the rigors of heavy use without any damage. It's comfortable and it's not a problem to carry 10-15 lbs weight all day long.It probably works best with a small DSLR or mirrorless camera, but you can use it for a full size DSLR. You just won't be able to take many lenses. I used it with M43 format camera and was able to carry lenses sufficient to go from 18mm to 600mm (35 mm equivalent), all accessible within 10 seconds.When I originally bought it I thought it would be better if it was slightly larger, but I have since changed my mind. 5Best camera backpack on the marketBest camera backpack on the market. I have tried a lot of different bags and this one is the best. Size is just right for day hikes. 5
