Customer Reviews

Very good light. This light is brighter than I expected. Thus far I have found it very handy for framing in in poor light. I used it for some finish work the other day and in detailed application of trying to line up the edge of a chisel accurately with a line, and the light shine directly on my work, I found the quality of the light made it difficult. In fact, I had to turn it off to do the task. I am guessing this is because of the five bulbs that are casting different shadows. In other circumstances I was able to bounce some of the light off a near reflective surface which helped resolve that. Perhaps also a diffuser could be used.... In many applications this was not an issue. The integrated spring clamp is handy, though a bit awkward to use at times because the spring is so strong. I am confident the thing isn't going to fall off easily once clamped. The magnets seem strong enough to me, as long as you don't whack the thing.Battery life on the high setting is, as others have said, not stellar, but I often don't need the high setting. It feels sturdy, and as if it will stand up decently to a work environment.Anyway, though its not a perfect light, it is great at what it does. And for the price, where are you going to find perfection? 4This thing puts out so much light it needs a warning label! This is a exceptionally bright light. You simply plug in a charged Milwaukee power tool battery and you are in business. The light is will distributed. You can easily work at night with this light. While it is as bright as my old 250W quartz halogen worklight, it is a lot cooler. With the quartz halogen you could use its heat to keep you warm in the winter. Ths LED light will not keep you warm. 5good battery life with a standard M12 battery Very bright, good battery life with a standard M12 battery. One issue (for me at least) the pull out "H" clip on the bottom only opens up to slightly more 1.5 inches to accommodate dimensional lumber. My house built in 1922 has 2x4 that actual 2"x4" so hanging it involves an extra step. But magnet is very strong. 5Harness the sun. This thing is a beast!!!!! Wicked bright. I use in on the middle setting and it lights up a room with ease. On the middle setting, it lasts for hours. I m going to get a second one for sure. 5This thing is amazing I am obsessed with this thing. SUPER bright and really does a great job of lighting the work area. Does not create the "double shadow" effect that other lights create. Magnets are very strong and can hold on to a rather small amount of surface area and are also rubber coated so they wont scratch important surfaces. I am a mechanic so I mostly use this on vehicles, wheel well area/ under hood. The spring clamp also works great to attach to aluminum hoods or 2"x4"s. ONLY gripe is this thing takes a lot of battery when its on the brightest setting. But even on low it is more than enough light. I would recommend some larger capacity batteries if you intend to run this for several hours at a time. 5All in all it's a good solid light Battery doesn't last long on brightest mode. Lasts longer in lower brightness modes. All in all it's a good solid light. I like the fact that I can use the same M12 battery that powers my many other Milwaukee tools. I use this to illuminate the inside of 53' semi-trailers while I off load freight, and it's just enough light to get the job done. Not blinding, yet not too dim either. 4Tiny might. I watched several video reviews on this little light and thought it looked like I'd be handy. Now that I own one it has turned out to be way more useful than I imagined it would be. Very versatile and bright when you need it to be. I find when I'm dragging it around near me I turn it to low or medium so I don't accidentally blind myself. I paired it with an aftermarket 6ah battery and I haven't had any issues with battery life at any setting. The magnet has been a little disappointing but otherwise super happy. 5***Look at in person first*** for a Milwaukee product it's a little under what I expected however it is in the M12s. my biggest problem with this is when the light is sitting level on a table top it's sitting at an angle pointing up about 40 degrees you can't have it just straight out towards your project you can tilt it but then you lose the magnets or The Wood Connection. But it is pretty bright there is no Focus it's only flood which is okay, I paid $70 for it with is a bit high of a price. (I think $50-$55 would be a fair price but I'm sure Ur paying for the name) 3Works as described As other reviews have said battery life is short on full power. This is expect because it is a 12v light. I have the bigger 12v batteries and run job sight radio on one and light on other for 8 hour shift. Only time will tell if light will hold up to job sight abuse. So far very pleased with illumination of the light. 5Excellent. Powerful light with broad reach for working in tight spaces. Does exactly what it's advertised to do. Powerful, broad lighting at three levels. Extremely useful because I already own several other Milwaukee 12v tools and their batteries fit this light. Excellent product. If I could think of any improvement, it might be make the base magnets a bit stronger. This light is fairly heavy with a battery installed. The magnets will hold it on a perfectly smooth vertical metal surface - but just barely, too easy to accidentally bump the light and knock it loose. That's the only nitpick I could come up with. 5
