    Worked in my 2003 chevy astro!I bought this for my 2003 chevy astro van to replace cd player and it turned out great! I was a little worried since They did say it only worked on models up to 2002, but I love the way it turned out. I gave it four stars because the front bezel does come unlatched easy. It was no big deal though, because we put a small piece of electrical tape on it before installation and it now stays securely in place. You cant even see the tape once its installed. I'm very happy with this purchase. 4Fits greatFits like a glove. Press form and make sure wire harnessing is out of the way. 4* because of the holes in back. Black tape em. 4Holes in pocket will allow coins etc. to fall inside dashboard.It fit fine. It had 6 open slots built into the back side of it that would allow coins, pens etc. to fall inside dash (cause shorts and fires?). Weird these open slots are. Why? I only put my cell phone in the pocket because of the slots. 2Had to modify to fitMost of the reviews said it fit perfect but mine needed to be shaved down quite a bit in order to fit. It was super easy with a file but still annoying that it didn't slide right in. Otherwise a good product once it was seated correctly. 3IT FITS BUT IT REQUIRED TRIMMINGTook factory CD player out of 99 Suburban since it was non-functional and had replaced stock stereo with a cd player built in. This fit, but it was SUPER-TIGHT. I used a pair of wire snips to trim off about 1/2 inch off of top runner. problem solved. It DID work, but it took a little bit of fabrication. 4Works Great in OBS GM Vehicles!Installed these Metra pockets in numerous OBS 96-00 GM SUVs, such as GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade, and Chevy Tahoe/Suburban. They also work well in the 96-00 OBS Sierras and Silverados. Installation couldn't be easier, and the fit and finish is great. 5Great fit in 1998 GMC Sierra - Perfect fit, nice storage areaI'm not entirely following the 1 star reviews here. Yes, it's a plain, non-lined, plastic pocket. Maybe they changed the description but what I received is pretty much exactly what I was expecting. The holes in the back are really tiny. Personally, I don't store mustard seed - sized items in my dash pockets so I don't think I'll be running into issues losing things in it. Ok, snarky rant done, lol.Honestly, this is a great mod for folks upgrading their OEM head unit and thereby freeing up the area taken up by the standalone cd player. Great fit, lots of storage for phone, stereo remote, etc. The only thing worthy of mention is that it mounts somewhat upside-down from what might seem like the correct orientation. The bevel goes on the bottom then you slide the flange in front of it as you're pushing the main dash bezel back in place. This orientation creates a ramp in front of the inside of the pocket that keeps things from rolling out and gives you a little more room inside. That being said, this separate flange piece does not stay attached to the pocket main body well by itself. It's designed to be held in place by the main dash bezel so don't fret if you're playing with it before installing it and it seems like it won't stay in place. I'll explain:What i did was pushed the pocket into place but not all the way back. The further it goes in, the harder it gets to slide it. I pushed it in so it was almost all the way back but not quite bottomed out. Then i put the main dash bezel on and pushed it in slightly. Before i seated the bezel, I put the flange in place in front of the pocket and then seated the dash bezel in place while holding the pocket flange in place. The tension is holding everything together perfectly.A nice upgrade would be to line it with some fabric using some spray adhesive but for now it's working just fine. Project for a later time. 5... where the cassette use to be and its a super tight fitUsed it for my 2000 silverado where the cassette use to be and its a super tight fit, It makes the compartment under it hard to open and close the door. Yes, Ive tried pushing it in more to clear it, but it wont clear it. Will fit perfect if youre willing to do some modifications. 3Perfect fit don't even need face plate factory plate covers ...Brought this for may 2002 blazer had installed new radio and mine came with cassette player. Perfect fit don't even need face plate factory plate covers perfectly. 5Fit my 1995 chevy k1500Fit my 1995 chevy k1500 perfectly. The cd player is separate from the radio, it is below the air control, where the radio is above. I needed this to replace where the cd player was. It fit super easy. It just slid right in. 5
