    EXCELLENT STRAP FOR LAPTOP BAGS AND MEDIUM WEIGHT USE This strap is being used on a medium sized soft cooler bag. The original strap broke. This strap has metal hardware, the length is adjustable on either side of the shoulder pad, and would work fine for ANY laptop bag. I will see if it holds up for the heavier cooler, if not, it would NOT be the straps fault. I purposely went cheap, as the shoulder strap isn't used very frequently for the cooler. 5Not bad The clips are in fact metal (for me at least). The length is fine for a laptop. The should pad is sewn in place, so you can't slide that around. To compensate for that, you'll have to adjust the strap length until you're comfortable with how it sits on your shoulder.I don't hear any squeaking noise when I'm walking around with it.Might as well grab this one if you need a replacement strap and don't want to throw away a lot of money. 4Straps with Attitude ! I bought all the colors of this strap, and paired it with my 'Rapid Rewards Deluxe Doggone Good Treat Bag' ! Using a lime strap with the purple bag - then hanging the bag around my neck, makes treats, bags, and keys much more accessible -- in am off-beat fashionable sort of way.The strap is nicely padded, and serves its purpose, with the heavily loaded treat bag. The metal snaps conveniently snap onto the side-hooks of the treat bag, and swivel, so a twisted strap is easily fixed without unclipping the bag. I suppose, if I wanted, I would clip the bag around my waist -- but then the overcoat hides the bag.I love that this strap comes in colors. (Hopefully in a tropical climate somewhere, most likely in the back of my closet.) It came on time. The clips seem sturdy and are easy to open/close. Unlike some of those hard plastic ones that really put your thumb strength to the test, and pop open at weird times. The strap itself is thin, probably a bit thin for the use I had in mind. It does have a no-slip/padded part for the shoulder. I think it would work perfectly for a laptop bag, anything up to 8 pounds or so. The strap kind of cuts into my shoulder with the added weight of a carry on bag. I did take it (and the bag) on the bus yesterday. Two buses, two hours, some jostling. Walked a couple of blocks around Seattle, in to out of Starbucks. Got off the bus walked half a mile to my home in the burbs. Worked great. I would buy another. 4You get what you pay for I will keep it objective:- the clips that attach to the bag are made of plastic. They make an annoying squeaky noise that will be noticeable to all those around while walking. The noise is caused by the plastic giving in with each step you make, when the weight of the bag bounces up and down. I also doubt these plastic clips will last...- the strap seems strong, but narrow, and the padding is too flimsy and does not provide and comfort.I did not return it since I only payed $6 for it, but the day after I received it, I ordered the Victorinox Comfort Fit Shoulder Strap for $32. This is the single, best strap. Highly recommending the Victorinox Comfort Fit Shoulder Strap. 2Pink and Convenient It s pink and it s padded. The material seems good for the inside, not slippery where it will fall off the shoulders.So nice to have them sell these separately. A few years ago, I bought a pink Meffort case for my pink PC, but it had a black strap. I hated it, but I didn t want to have to buy a new case. This strap is identical to the one that came with my case, except for the color.I m also going to get one for my camera. I always figure someone is less likely to steal something pink. Any guy running down the street with a pink case and pink strap is going to be highly visible. 5Very good shoulder strap! I got this to carry my folding red nylon Slacker stool with. The strap that came on it is too short. I just clipped this one on without even removing the old strap, and now I can sling my folding stool across my chest while still wearing my backpack. And it matches the stool! The strap is very comfortable and durable and the clips are good. The stool only weighs 2 pounds but this strap could handle a lot more weight. I recommend it. 5There has got to be something better out there Way too short. Didn't expect anything great but this was pretty pathetic as far as straps go. Looks like something you would buy in a dollar store. Stitching looks like it was done by elementary students during a home economics class. Not worth the cost/hassle of returning. Normally you can gauge how good a product is by ratings, but don't be fooled by all the 5 star ratings on this. No way does this deserve that rating.Update: adding 1 star because fully extended it becomes just barely long enough 2Solid and well designed strap I wanted a replacement strap for my briefcase (the original is cream color thus gets dirty FAST). After looking at almost all the straps offered on Amazon I settled on this one because it is inexpensive and seems to be well designed.After getting the product I was not disappointed.(Black strap review) The soft pad has a sticky side that prevents slipping off the shoulder (if not carried cross body style). The stitching seems to be solid. The metal hardware should last long. However, the hardware is not for heavy load. Now I may order red, orange, and blue color ones to replace the strap on my 3 other handbags. The soft shoulder pad makes carrying the bag cross body so much more comfortable.As for strap getting long by not staying put, the solution is very simple and easy. Find 2 safety pins that's 1.5" long (the short and puny ones are not strong enough and won't pin thru the webbing). Pin the webbing as close to the swivel as possible. The pins will make the strap stay in place and prevent the webbing from bunching at the swivel.(Red strap review)The red strap the pad is thicker with neoprene on both sides but there's no sticky side. The nylon webbing color is orange red, a lighter shade than the photo. The swivel width fits the webbing width, unlike the black one where the swivel is wider than the webbing. Again I use a safety pin right above the swivel to affix the webbing in place to keep the strap length to where I want. 4Great price for a padded strap with metal hardware. I gave it 4 stars because the metal seems a bit thin and the strap tighteners do not hold as well as they should. I got these to make backpack straps for my tournament Discraft disc golf bag this one Discraft 12 Disc Tournament Golf Bags and had to make a hole in the bag's back pocket to have these straps work as backpack straps. I know two of these as a sort of backpack for my disc bag will work, one as a single strap for the bag will not work as they might be a bit flimsy so I left the original one on. 4
