Love these gloves. Absolutely perfect! The first pair was sent to me with a defective seam that wasn't completely sewn. Amazon promptly sent a new pair and let me tell you they are perfect. They fit like a second set of skin but with a perfect amount of stretch. The padding on the palm is protective and enhances grip. The armored areas are flexible, comfortable but incredibly impact resistant. I could wear these gloves all day. My wife fell in love with how well mine fit and the protection they afforded and ordered some of her own. I will be using these as work gloves as well as airsoft gloves. Probably going to buy a second pair! 5So far, so good. I'm using these gloves to help stock shelves in the store that I work at. I was having issues with my hands being injured and dry at the end of most weeks (from handling boxes of cardboard) so I thought buying a pair of gloves would help; having them finger-less would give me some dexterity for writing/typing stuff down. I work around 40 hours a week so you can imagine the amount of use the gloves would get.It's been a couple of weeks and they're still holding up fine. Other reviews have noted that they have a strong rubbery smell when they get delivered and mine's the same. I wouldn't worry about it since it went away after running them through the washing machine.- UPDATE -I received these gloves on May 5, 2019 and today is June 14, 2019. That means its been a little over a month and the gloves are starting to wear. The edges around the finger tips are splitting and the palm of the left glove is now exposing the padding underneath. This was with constant usage over the course of the month from handling in-store stock.The seams on the edges is to be expected with the usage on finger-less gloves but the exposure of the padding leads me to say that the gloves are not worth buying if you are planning to constantly put them to use. They were helpful while they lasted, however. I've attached some photos of what the gloves look like now. 3used for shooting. it's a bit harder to remove than the full fingered version, but that's the price one has to pay to get fingerless gloves.if you are using this for shooting, i would recommend buying the full fingered one and just cutting the tip of the glove for the trigger finger. 4FIT PERFECT, GREAT PADDING, STINKS REAL BAD. The glove fits just right. Not too heavy. Plans to use for upcoming Spartan Race. The only problem is the smell. It smells so strong, like a burnt rubber chemical ammonia something. Washed it with extra detergent, still smelled. Rinsed with fabric softener and deodorizer thingy, it's some better, but you can still smell it. Hopefully will wear out over time. It functions great as a glove, regardless. 4Great for police work (if your department allows them lol) After countless pairs of full-finger Mechanix gloves (I keep losing them), I switched to these fingerless ones on a recommendation for summer wear and more precise trigger control (I use these for police work and shooting). They work great for police work in warm weather; my hands stay cool while still being protected from scrapes and bruises, and also am able to easily use a pen to write or handle small objects like a handcuff key. They were shipped quickly and Mechanix is a great company to deal with. No complaints other than the uncomfortable tag inside each glove that I had to remove. Removing the tags caused some of the stitching to come apart too. 4Great Quality I was looking for shooting gloves and these are comfortable and breathes well and I'm happy with my investment. I would recommend this product. 5Padded palm protects nerves from pressure damage. As with any Mechanix Wear glove, these are superbly made and fit like a, well, a glove. I have some temporary nerve damage in my right hand causing a condition known as "trigger finger" in my ring finger. Wearing the right glove while I walk with a cane helps prevent further nerve damage from the handle of the cane pressing into my palm due to the gloves ample padding. I also wear it at night to prevent me from fully closing my fist while sleeping. It seems to be helping and the condition is getting better by the day. 5*Update* gloves falling apart from practically nothing *Update 8/30/18*The stitching between the clasp and the thump has totally ripped somehow, making these gloves only a few moments away from being thrown away. I'm really upset about this, mechanix gloves are really good and high quality, and these have totally fallen apart from doing minimal usage. It's not like I was being hard on them, they were used to just push my wheelchair. That's it. Very disappointed, have to find new gloves that aren't expensive and won't fall apart in a few months. Pissed at you, mechanix.I bought these to use for helping push in my wheelchair, and they work pretty well. They're a little bulky, the rubber parts on the top of the hand are nice and should help if you have an impact there, but they just add bulk in my opinion. It's a very soft, spongy rubber.I was hoping for a little more grip in the palm area to help grab my wheels, but if you're using these for more traditional work they should be great if you need fingerless gloves for any reason. They're reinforced everywhere, and as someone who used regular mechanix gloves and went through a pair every 2-3 months, if these had fingers I wouldn't be surprised if these lasted 5 or 6. They're supportive and padded, but not bulky or awkward.Not the best for wheelchair users, but OK. Pretty good if you need fingerless work gloves. 1A+ Disclaimer: I actually got these pre-owned through Amazon warehouse.I've been using these gloves a couple of times a week for about 2 months now and they still look as good as when I got them. I primarily use them to work out and lift weights as well as for shooting and they have held up beautiful. They did have a little bit of a plastic ish smell when I got them but it went away after about a week, and it wasn't strong. Also they we're a little tight when I got them, but they fit perfectly now so I chalk that up to needing to be broken into. Overall I love these, and really don't have any complaints. 5FRAUD - Cheap Chinese bootleg FRAUD - CHEAP VINYL CHINESE BOOTLEG - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!These are NOT Mechanix Wear gloves. Heck, "Mechanix" is mispelled two different ways and IMPACT is spelled MPACT.Horrid build. You could easily pull the fingers right off.Returned for refund. 1
