    Failed after using for about 2 hours.I have now used these 5 times and now there is extreme distortion in one of the 2 speakers. THE TWEETER HAS FAILED. Moreover, I had to drill out one of the screws in the mounting brackets as it was stripped. Thought I'd give them a try. You get what you pay for. Look at ski/wakeboard speakers at a higher price point.And by the way, unlike many Amazon vendors, no response from the seller or manufacturer. BUYER BEWARE.1No so waterproofMounts are plastic, not like pictured. They are sturdy though and have held up to a few rides on my 2016 XP1000 RZR. Being a marine speaker I expected them to hold up to water better. When I wash my machine, just a light rinse from the garden hose renders them pretty much useless until they dry out.3Perfect for a budget.I bought these for my jeep and mounted them on the roll cage. Had to buy 3" bolt to make the mount work. Sound is good for the price, not as much bass as I thought but it's good and it is loud I'm only running a 200w amp to them and its loud enough to hear rolling down the highway without the top and with cars next to you. For the money good if you had more to blow and want loud I would go with something else.4Size issueOkay let me state in the beginning I purchased these to put on the crash bars of my motorcycle not actually on a boat they seem to be well constructed and they sound pretty good for being as cheap as they are they're well worth the money my only issue so far is the plastic casing was larger than I expected on a wake tower they would be fine but they look kind of funny mounted on my bike4look great,awesome sound quality,when you crank the volume your neighbors will call the cops, this is why i love amazon got them for my jeep, aloooot of people ask about them.Item quality, excellent, they look alot more expensive than what i paid for and they can really take a beating , water and mud are no problem.I have them facing outwards and you can stand behind them and enjoy the music inside the jeep, but they are veeery loud when you stand in front of them, 50 feet away music sounds so clear like you were standing right next to them. Rusted up grills after only 3 months ...saltwater though. And they stay outside. Resoldered connection and good to go 4They rust on a saltwater boat.If you are planning on using this product on a boat in salt water don't even think about. The face of the speakers were rusty in less than two months. The sound is ok but they look terrible.1Poor customer service but speakers are decent.I got these 6.5 inch speakers and their 8 inch speakers too. Speakers sound great but feel flimsy and that should ve gave me a clue. While Towing my side by side, one of the speaker grills came off and get lost somewhere on the road. Seller will not replace it because I m 3 days past the 30 day warranty. They would ve had a 4-5 star review if it wasn t for their lack of product support.1These speakers are easy to install and have a pretty good soundThese speakers are easy to install and have a pretty good sound. As other buyers have stated, the speaker grilles rust FAST. Within 3 weeks rust started to form on the grilles. I pulled the grilles off and brushed Ospho on them to neutralize the rust and then applied several thin coats of primer and paint to them. They lasted for a while longer but the rust is back with a vengeance. Next step is to cut the freaking grilles completely out. Not sure why the hell they put metal grilles into a marine speaker.2Excellent For the price these are excellent they have a wonderful sound 5Almost perfect. Let me see your GRILL.Very good quality and full range of audio with very very little distortion at high volume. The only downside to these speakers is the metal grill on the front. They began to rust almost immediately. If you buy these, and you should, the first thing you should do is remove the front grills, and spray them with some rust stop enamel (both sides). Then finish off with a clear coat. Then replace and seal using ATV clear silicone all around edge except for very bottom to give water (from wake splash & rain) a drainage path.4Good sound not so good construction I have had themSince May and are happy with the sound but the screens rusted out. Disappointing considering they are marine grade 2Junk The speaker ripped and split with less than one season of use. The grills fall off while letting my boat idle.I wouldn t recommend these speakers. 1Awesome sound for the priceAwesome sound for the price. Bass leaves a little to be desired though. I am using these with a BOSS brand 600w ( most likely 200 'real' watt ) motorcycle amp in my 2012 Teryx4 seater. They are plenty loud even while under full throttle.5
