    The smell is horrendous!When we e received the bag it smelled of mold and the smell permiated everything in it. We left the bag ourside for 2 days hoping it would go away and it still smells just as bad. We thought this would bea good deal because it was so much less expensive than othdr sellers selling the same bag. The horrible smell they have must be why they're so cheap to get rid of them and you can't return them. So be wary when looking for survival bags! Manufacturing dates on all products were fresh. The backpack itself isn't cheap or flimsy, very sturdy, so you can add to the bag and no worry about weight.5Supplies can last a while. Listen, It's great. Honestly, but what would have made this a 4 or 5 star would be to double the food bars. It's great now if you want a bag of cheap survival stuff for around 50 bucks with some food. I know it says two days, but with the way it's condensed, I think double it and you got yourself the perfect grab and go. 3Everything was as advertised!!Did a lot of research on these bags and compared them with other companies. I feel more prepared if I happen to be in any emergency in the future.5A Great Basic BOB This is a very basic bug-out-bag that contains many of the items you would need if stranded in an emergency. I will be adding some hi-cal food bars to it because the ones it contains don't have enough calories for a situation in which you would need to be active and burning calories. I'm also planning on upgrading the flashlight that came with it, adding a flint fire starter, cough drops and hard candy, small knife, and a leather man's multi-tool. Otherwise, this was a fantastic buy for the price! 3Very thoroughI love the thought that went into the items, there is everything three people will need for three days plus! The stove, radio,gloves, masks, everything is great!4All the essentials! I have heard nothing but good things about this gift that I purchased for my firefighter son in law. Also, I didn't like the bright yellow emergency kit writing on the pack. In a real emergency that's probably not a great idea to advertise whats in your pack. Yay! 5Ended up purchasing a lot of these I was trying to help some friends and family get a little more prepared for an emergency so I ordered a couple packs trying to see what would work the best for the majority of people. I think this is a great pack and has a good variety of supplies. I don't think any one pack will have everything you need, but the is plenty of room to add extra stuff. 5Starter packAs many already expressed, pretty cheap supplies in this kit. I replaced many of them with higher quality. Examples are ponchos, tent, first aid kit, flashlight. It is a good starter pack.3
