Used for installing the tile too 4OK Trowel...hey, it's just a trowel!Works well and as described. I purchased this for applying thin set over a wired-electric radiant floor in the bathroom. I still prefer metal trowels, but this one was easy on the wiring. Tough to clean up without knocking off the teeth, but held up well enough to keep after a 120 s.f. tile job. 4Worked quite well.I needed a plastic bladed trowel to install some embedded floor heating wiring under ceramic floor tiles. This worked quite well and has been quite durable. Just remember, it is plastic so treat it as such. And as I was using it to avoid damage to the heating element wiring, I was extra careful. The reviews that indicate it breaks are apparently people that do not understand a products limitations. 5Glad to find a plastic blade as we wanted to ...Glad to find a plastic blade as we wanted to use this for mortar over in floor heat wiring. Worked well and was sturdy enough while laying the mortar. 4
