Customer Reviews

Nice little fella I'm using this micro-tripod on my Fujifilm XT-1 with 35mm f2.0. It can hold much more than that, the legs' springs are very sturdy, but not to the point where it's inconvenient to open and close them. It barely sticks out of the bottom of the camera and never goes in the way of putting the camera in bag. All metal parts that touch camera are nicely covered with a pleasant to touch rubber. Highly recommend. Best investment for a travel photography. 5Clever gadget. Very cool. I have it attached to my Sony NEX-7. It does have a tendency to bump into fatter lenses, but with a little adjusting it works OK. Its ability to give a stable rest on, say, a floor or a table allows for some interesting framing choices. I almost wish it had four legs, though, since with longer lenses, it needs careful adjusting or the camera tends to fall to the side. A more stable footprint would be appreciated. 5It works but You can only tighten the tripod screw so much and the stand still swivels if you move it to much. If your gentle it'll stay in place, but if your leg springs are tight then simply by opening or closing the unit it could cause your base to move. Also, there is no additional opening to place an additional 1/4 inch tripod mount in, and its not Acra compatible. Therefore, as long as you have this think on you'll have to take it off if you want to use a real tripod. This is an issue since I frequently use full sized tripods. It's a nice little gadget but these 2 hiccups are enough for me to return. It may be good for vacations but even then the pictures of you (if taking selfies) would be coming from an upward angle. I wanted to try this out and I wanted to like it, but after receiving it I just don't understand this item. Is a no for me. 3So good, I bought a 2nd. I use this with my GH4 Mirrorless. Works great for time-lapse at parties. Put a wide angle lens on your camera, and set it on bookshelf or some out of the way place and let 'er rip.I added a quick mount adapter plate to make it fast and easy, no messing with the screw.Andoer Adapter Plate Square Clamp with Gradienter for Quick Release Plate for Tripod Ball Head Arca Swiss RRS Wimberley 5Smaller than a Platipod, work just as well, looove it I love this little unobtrusive mini tripod. It is so small when folded, that I leave it on all the time. I have several other small tripods but either you have to remove them to put the camera away, or you leave a ball head on and just remove the rest of the small tripod. I find that an annoying step but also hate having something sticking out for the bottom of the camera as it won t fit in my small mirror less bag. This little gem is so flat it fits fine and doesn t even snag on anything.Lastly, I was worried the legs might move too easily to hold my A6000 with the 18-105mm but is fine, even at extrem angles 5Nice value This is a very nice alternative for a table top or floor tripod. The only issue is that the screw that comes with the MP3 requires a fidily coin or tool to take it on/off the camera body. I repaced the screw with a Newer D Shaft version which fixes that problem. 5Very useful for limited situations While a bit expensive, this actually works well for it's intended purpose. It's small, lightweight, and does a great job of holding my Sony Nex-7 even with the heavy 18-200mm zoom on it. Yep, you'll have to remove it to use your standard monopod/tripod - it's not difficult, but is an extra step. This is one of those items you'll likely use less than you think, yet find invaluable for those few times you really need it. 4MIGHT work for your DSLR setups, depends on your style! I got this for my 80D, not completely confident it can support my larger lenses. It does work for some lenses! This has absolutely no issue supporting my 80D with a 24mm STM or a 35mm f2 IS lens, they're small enough that this tripod works. But with a large lens like the 17-55 f2.8, this will give mixed performance, as due to the sheer weight of the lens, it WILL tip forward.I have zero issues with build quality, the legs are extremely sturdy and the entire metal+plastic build feels like it can take a beating. If you have a lightweight DSLR setup with a small to medium prime lens (or a mirrorless), just stick this thing on and you have a great setup for your landscapes, long exposures and other tripod-y things you have to do! So much better than finding a ledge to put your camera onto, you get the flexibility of being able to frame your pictures without needing to bring a bulky tripod! Best part is, you can just leave it on your camera and forget till you need it! 5Great tool I never knew I always needed. Where was this years ago? I got this based on the manufacturer name. It is VERY nice. The feet WILL slip if you have too much weight on it, so be sure to get the right model that you need. I was going to get the smaller one but the price is so close. When this showed up I thought I got the wrong model because it is very small. Turns out the unit is just smaller than I expected. But it works! I use it on my Smooth Q. What a great combo. Small enough to stay out of the way when folded up. 5I put the 2 legs on the front due to my zoom lens on a bridge camera and it works fine.. however The way this is made you have 2 legs on the front and 1 in the back, or 1 in the front and 2 on the back.I put the 2 legs on the front due to my zoom lens on a bridge camera and it works fine.. however, the 1 left in the back always slips a little bit (it slips if i put it in front as well of course). My camera is ~750gr.All in all, not bad, but its not necessarily better than the micro jobi equivalent. Slightly stronger back leg would be nice. 3
