It's still a lot better than holding them in your free hand or mouth I can't believe I didn't come up with this idea years ago, and I don't know why I didn't buy it a lot sooner. If your tired of holding nails and screws in your left hand or in your mouth while you try to drill in a nail, spend $10 and you'll never do it again. I've used this item several times and it just makes working with nails a lot easier. I'll say that this will hold around 15 to 25 nails at a time really well, but anymore, and they'll start to fall off. It's still a lot better than holding them in your free hand or mouth. 5Not working, definitely not like the pic... This thing has relatively weak magnets. I thought I can put different type of screws in a more organized ways so I don't have to search them too much in my pockets.However, when I use this, the screws just kept on falling or moving around. Probably the magnets are not strong enough? not sure.I even put another magnet to attach to this wristband and it works a bit better where the screws are all attached to the magnet, but definitely add more weights to it overall.So I'm not liking it, hoping for a better solution. 1Great! But not perfect. Bought this for my father-in-law. He's a DIY guy all the way and he was surprised he never thought of this..Anyways, 4/5. It does NOT hold heavy tools like screwdrivers, wrenches and other things like the picture shows.It does hold, however, small items perfectly. For example, the different heads for the DeWalt and screws -- which these tend to be a pain in the tool belts. Other than that, you still need a tool belt for the heavier things. 4Good Purchase I got tired of fishing in my tool belt for bits for my impact driver. This was especially so when hanging sheetrock recently when I needed to interchange the sheetrock screw setter, regular #2 phillips and a T-25 for screwing nailers in place. This little device got some strange looks from my workmates but it sure keeps me from getting my fingers all nicked up from fishing for bits amongst screws, nails and whatever else is in the bottom of that tool belt (where bits invariably end up). Plus it makes the work go faster when I just pluck the needed bit off my wrist and keep on going. I can also use this to hold small fasteners while doing other jobs. Strong magnets held the bits just fine ... did not loose a one. Good purchase. 5Magnets weak and hard to locate. This Wristband is MASSIVE in more ways than one. It's physically very large on the wrist, The Magnets are anything but strong making it a waste of money. The only thing that is strong on this wristband is the Velcro holding it together. 1Small circular magnets :( Pretty displeased. I purchased 2 of these for my husband and father in law for Christmas. I showed my husband first (for his dad) and he wasn t impressed. My husband owns a roofing company and deals a lot with nails/screws. There are 10 small circular magnets across 5 strips (2 on each strip, it would be much nicer if the magnets were across the entire strips) It doesn t hold many nails/screws. I am attaching photos to show the extent of what it will hold. This may be nice for someone who isn t wanting to use it for professional jobs, but more less small home projects. I will be returning. 2Better than i thought. First time using something like this. Did about a days with of home work. Knew I needed something durable, easy to use, but with strong magnets. Bam!! Got it on the first try. Larger than I thought, took up more of my arm than I was expecting, but works very well and as needed. The most important part. The magnets will hold my quick release screwdriver bits, on the black sections of the band while holding randon other screws on the orange parts on the band all at the time. To push me and the wristbands luck, I climbed into and THEN crawled around an attic for 30 mins. One of my screw driver bits was knocked around but didn't fall off the magnets. While the random screws didnt budge. At least we know now it can be done! From now on I can switch from Philips to flat head in 4 seconds or grab one of the many screws on my wrist and get busy. 5Great product! This was a gift for my husband and he was thrilled with it. He had seen others in stores that were very heavy and bulky and was happy that this was not bulky and was lightweight. The magnet is very strong and holds a good number of screws and nails . It was a perfect gift for someone who gets tired of holding screws in their mouth or pocket, only to drop them. I found the size is also great for me because today I used it to hold nails as I was hanging up pictures. Great product! 5Better of the two I got to try, but not great This is between 3-3.5 stars. It's much better than the other one I purchased at the same time (Handy Band 00201 Magnetic Wrist Band) which isn't as strong, is difficult to put on and take off, and pinches my arm hairs. In contrast, this one goes on and off easily, doesn't pull on my hairs, and is slightly stronger. But it's still pretty weak, and it's bulky. That bulkiness is largely responsible for it being easier to use and not pulling on my hairs, because it prevents it from collapsing like the other one does, but I'm pretty sure it could be a lot slimmer and still accomplish that, and slimming it down would also slightly increase the magnetic strength. I plan to make my own so I can use my own magnets, or possibly remove the ones from this band and replace them. If they had used good quality bar magnets instead of the small (possibly good quality, not sure, but too small to matter) disc magnets they used (2 per section, 4 sections, 8 total) this could have easily been a 4-star product and probably even a 5-star one, and it would have been worth more. But I suppose that's the problem, because fewer people would buy it as they would go for the cheaper options. 3Useful, but not perfect I bought this as a gift for my dad, who happens to be neck deep renovating my house for me. It seemed pretty clever considering the number of bits lost and times I'd heard "where's the measuring tape???" shouted across the house.It really shines when you're dealing with ladders or trying to work on a project yourself. Having a hand to hold screws and bits is completely invaluable, and a fantastic alternative to having to stand under the ladder and hand up screws one by one.Sadly though with anything bigger than screws and bits, for instance a screw driver or dad's notorious tape measure, it doesn't perform so well. It will hold them, but weakly. Any bump or rapid movement will just send them careening to the ground, or at your face. For that sort of thing you're better off with a tool belt unfortunately. 4
