    The price is really good! PRO TIP: Before you order additional bulbs for any type Maglite, unscrew the end, pop out the circular wire that presses on the negative end of the battery & check for a spare bulb that's housed inside a little, colored, plastic sleeve. You will be surprised!Outstanding deal when compared to the hardware stores, etc.Maglite Replacement Lamps for 2-Cell AA Mini Flashlight, 2-Pack 5Brighter, BUT... Definitely brighter than the stock bulb that comes with the older mag lights. I installed this "upgrade" on a 6 C cell maglite (no longer made, but wish they did). I put upgrade in quotes because installing this bulb has its plus and minuses. Depending on your needs, it may be worth the trade off or not. The new light is brighter, but as other reviewers stated, the light beam can not be focused as much as with the older PR3 bulbs (see attached picture). I keep the old PR3 bulb in the tail cap of the flashlight just in case this one fails. Overall a good "upgrade", but it needs to be as "focusable" (if that's a word) as the older PR3 bulbs. Installation was fairly easy, but no instructions or diagrams or good luck notes were included with the package. The new "upgraded" light is on the left at its narrowest, most focused point. The original PR3 bulb is on he right at its most focused, narrowest point. 4I saw the light then I didn't Once I got this installed it seems like it will work. Was a pain in the butt to get in the flashlight. The bulb has to be plugged into the base and is very easy to dislodge while screwing the cap into the flashlight. The bulb wires kept twisting and bend and required using needle nose pliers to straighten the wires out and then re-inserting them. LIke I said, a real pain! I will not purchase another like this. I would much rather have just a bulb like the original. 3Perfect fit and work great Perfect fit and work great. There are lots of new designs on small flashlites, but I still use my old mini-mag lite for just about everything. When the bulb went out on me awhile back, I wasn't too concerned because I knew that I had some spares stashed someplace --- the problem was, I couldn't remember where! So I ordered some new ones and they got here quickly, fit perfectly, and I have a working flashlite again. That's worth 5 stars to me! 5Not what I expected. When I ordered the flashlight bulb, I expected a flashlight Xenon flashlight bulb, not an assemble yourself piece of junk. I'm using it and it does work. However, the bulb I had, had a brighter and stronger beam. Meaning that it could cast a straight beam a little over two hundred yards and that was a bright beam.The bulbs I received barely casts a straight beam maybe 75 yards and is dim at that. I expected the same type of Xenon bulb that I had ordered from you Amazon about a year or so ago. Obviously I didn't get what I expected.I would draw you a picture, however I don't know how to integrate my drawing into this email. It was a skinny but durable little light that put out one hell of a beam. This one, you have to really concentrate with my eyes in order to see what is at the end of the beam. Totally not what I had expected. I will continue to use these lights until I can get a hold of Mag-Lite and get the right bulb, if it is still made.Gary Robinson L.A.S.D. Retired and USMC Retired 3It works, that's about it. I'm trying to replace the OEM bulb on my 2-D Mag-Light Flashlight and got this thinking it would be an improvement over the original bulb. See, I have a MagLight key chain flashlight that is about 20x brighter than the OEM bulb that came with the 2-D flashlight. Also, a dollar store LED is about 10x brighter than the OEM bulb, so I ordered this to replace it. Turns out, . . . this is the OEM bulb. So now I have a third OEM bulb, and a flashlight that works, kind of, if you don't need your flashlight to illuminate anything. 2Good light but the retaing ring thread does not thread, EASY FIX!! Fitted to my Double C Mag-Light.Well being the original large bulbs are not being produced I assume or your going to pay a ridicules price for one.This is the alternative.What do I think?It works it's bright I A-B the two and it is just close to being as bright as the Krypton.My issue was the retaining ring wouldn't thread to the light socket housing.What I did was sand the back side of it down till it caught and started threading, this also pushes the bulb adapter down flush to the bulb housing.Just a note.. Look in the battery cap a spare maybe in there, I didn't look and guess what? I had one!! )0: 32.5 times cheaper then LED replacement Both of my original bulbs burnt out finally after years of use on my Mini Maglite. (Note there is an extra bulb in the tail of the flashlight. Unscrew the tail and you will see the spare bulb down under the spring.) I thought about changing out to the LED replacement, but the price I thought was too high, so I just ordered these replacement bulbs. If they last as long as the first 2, it will be well worth the $2.25 verses the $7.00 for the LED replacement. (I know the batteries will last a lot longer with LED, but I don't use the flashlight that much.) 5work fine They're maglite light bulbs, and they work just as good as the originals.Before you buy make sure that you don't already have a spare. It will be underneath the spring in the bottom cap that holds the batteries in. 5Buyer beware This came up in a search for LED replacement bulbs. That are not LED. I admit it is obvious from the picture but I was in a hurry and missed it.Worse NO REFUND for an item listed as Prime. Probably it states that someplace but even searching for where it says no refund I could not find it. 2
