Good color options, little I was really excited to have a mag light with red filters, which is great for keeping night vision while hiking to view stars. The challenge I have is the lenses come out of the attachment pretty easy, and isn t very easy to change the colors. I find the best option is to replace the lens internally, versus using holder, and don t bother with changing lens types (like if you want to replace red with clear). 3Good item I bought this for a Maglite mini and a Maglite XL50. Pro's1.The lens holder is octagon shaped so it cannot roll.2.The red lens works great with the Mini (led) Mag and the XL50 Mag, lights an area up well enough to walk through just about any area without giving off a lot of light for others to see and also does not mess with your night vision.3.The blue lens works well it does not show as much light as the clear lens but is still very bright more or less just making the beam a darker blue.4.The clear lens makes a great protector lens for the main lens.5.Pocket clip is solid and strong serves its purpose.6.The wrist lanyard holds strong and good for if your high up or over water or any situation you cannot afford to drop your flashlight. Cons1.The red lens does not fit as good as the other two lens's if it is not placed just right you will get some white light seeping through the side, keep in mind it will work with no white light seeping through it just takes a little tampering.2.I put the lens holder on the Mini Maglite first then I took it off and placed it on the Maglite XL50 and it did not fit very well was very lose and slippery. The Mini Maglite is just a little thicker than the XL50. Luckily I purchased two of these so I opened the Maglite lens kit and it fit just right on the XL50.3.Lens's are small and can be lost very easily. OverallGreat Maglite Kit I have one for the D Maglite also, I would suggest getting it for any of the Maglites. I give it 4 out of 5 although i might be just nitpicking if I lowered my standards just a little (very little) bit it would have been 5 out of 5, I can see where people would give it a 5 out of 5 my main problem was the red lens not fitting snug other than that I have no real problem with it. 4MiniMag lovers rejoyce.... enhancements abound! The clip and the anti-roll "tactical" lens cover make this a great value for Mini-Mag lovers. I split this between two MiniMag lights: the clip on a "stnd". 2 cell incandescent (with a ABN Mini Maglite Flashlight Replacement Conversion Kit Upgrade Bulb, LED AA 1-2 Cell 120 LM of Bright White Light) which turns it into a 'big boy' light. And the anti-roll cap on a Maglite Mini PRO LED 2-Cell AA Flashlight with Holster Black with an impressive 272 Lumens. Both are wrapped with Super Glue E-z Fuse Pro Red Tape 2.5ft X 1in Roll (4 Pack) # 1541012-4pk for enhanced "grip-ability" (it only sticks to itself... highly recommend). Since everyone I know has lost a MiniMag in one of those "ka-ka" open top holsters that come w/ a MiniMag, the clip is worth the price of purchase by itself. Oh... and both have push button tailcap switches.... and the lanyard... I chucked it. 5It is what it is, and at a good price. Wish the D cell size was as cheap! I buy these to use with my 2AA Mini Maglites, mainly for the anti-roll feature, and to use the clear lens to help protect my flashlight lens from damage. I never use the lanyard or the pocket clip and only occasionally have I used any of the colored lenses. And that was just the red lens when I needed to protect my dark-adapted eyesight from the bright white light, but still needed some extra illumination to see what I was doing. For me, it is worth the money, and if you have need of the other color lenses it would be an even better deal. But I would like to be able to buy just the anti-roll ring and a clear lens without buying all the rest of the stuff. The same goes for the D cell size accessory pack as well. 5Bright & Compact A terrific flashlight, plenty bright, compact, fits in your pocket or purse; can get with a lanyard, which fits over your wrist; replaced a red one where batteries melted into the body...comes with a red lens, to use at night!! 5Add-ons for Maglite mini This is a nice little accessory pack for your Maglite mini AA.I bought it around the same time as the flashlight and all the pieces have held up well.I mostly use the red lens (great for finding things at night without ruining your night vision) and the lens holder (also keeps the flashlight from rolling off surfaces) though I like having the other pieces in case I need them,even the pocket clip,but especially the other two lens covers (blue and clear) and the wrist strap which can double as a lantern loop if I need to hang the flashlight to keep my hands free.This kit isn't absolutely necessary for your mini maglite of course,but it's handy to have around just the same. 5Most of the pieces were included, though the lenses I received were Red, Clear, and Blue I bought this kit to upgrade a Mini AA LED MagLite, and was looking forward to having something that wouldn't roll around when using it, and I could attach to my bag. Unfortunately, this kit was missing the lanyard completely. I didn't even bother to open the pack, and tried to send it back to Amazon. Interestingly, because it was an add-on item of such a low price, Amazon told me I didn't have to return the item to receive my refund. That's very generous of them, but it also makes sense that shipping it back and processing it would probably be more than it's worth. It also appears this item has a history of packaging issues, with incorrect lens colors or missing parts. Thanks Amazon for fulfilling my order! 3The wrist strap helps you hang onto the sometimes slippery aluminum Maglite housing (or hang it like a lantern) This accessory kit, and the one for the larger full size Maglite (harder to come by) really improve the utility of this particular flashlight. The wrist strap helps you hang onto the sometimes slippery aluminum Maglite housing (or hang it like a lantern); the hexagon rubber cap that holds the various lenses keeps the Maglite from rolling away on less than level surfaces; and the pocket clip is handy for keeping the Maglite secure in what ever pocket you chose to park it when it's not in use. I really wish that Maglite would package these useful accessories with their flashlights. 5Accessory pack has been changed I ordered this accessory pack because I wanted the blue and red lenses. The MagLite Accessory pack has now changed. It does not include a red lens and the blue one does not fit inside the flashlight head like the clear ones. It can only be used with the rubber anti-roll piece on the outside of the flashlight. I tried putting this on my flashlight but when at work, I carry the flashlight in the maglite holster on my belt. The anti-roll piece is in the way and comes off as I put the flashlight in and out of the holster. In my opinion, the accessory pack is pretty useless now (except maybe for the strap). 1Purchased for my mini AA Mag Lite. The lenses were scratched right out of the box? Very disappointed. I can't recommend this. The red and blue lenses were both scratched and with very rough edges to them. The only thing that was of value is the anti roll cap and lanyard. I Keep My Gear As long As I Can and Buy New Only If Needed. Mag lights are a go to for me. The quality on this kit was not worth the price. The red lens is of no use (with or without scratches except maybe at very close range) and the blue lens besides being scratched is something I won't use. Out of this kit, the anti roll end with the clear extra "plastic lens is essentially what I paid for. 2
