    Great Job MagLite! My husband says that this is one of the best Mini Mag lite holsters that he has ever owned. I was a little skeptical st first as to weather or not this would hold his flash lite securely, but i was wrong. He works in a Heat treating facility, and is on and off of forklifts all day long, in and around gigantic furnaces, and has never lost his light! This is a very well made little item, and is a must have for anyone who needs to keep a light by there side. It really feels like real police duty gear. Trust me when i say that you will not be disappointed.Great job Maglite! 5Durable and long lasting Our old vendor no longer carries this part, so it was great to finally find it. Leather is easier to maintain, durable, and repairable if desired. The canvas/nylon Maglite holders break too often for us that we cannot use them as when they stretch over time, the flashlight/torch falls out. With leather, we can add a stitch if needed to tighten it and the flashlight/torch just seats farther into the holder but still holds it. 5Nice material, not so nice construction This is a nice ballistic cloth holster which I purchased because the stock holster which came with the AA Maglite allows the flashlight to fall out when you're kneeling or lying on your back. This holster has a flap to prevent that. However, the Velcro used to fasten the flap is low quality and the flap often opens when it brushes against your arm or clothing. I expected more from Maglite. Prior models of this product worked much better and truly secured the flashlight. I am not confident that this will keep my flashlight from falling out and getting lost. 3sorta confused.... is it just me, or are there two different holsters pictured in amazon's listing here? the product i received was the one pictured outside of the package (it came in a package that said "black nylon flashlight belt holster"), the one i wanted was the one pictured inside the package that says "ballistic fabric belt holster", the latter looks like a formed holster & very heavy duty - hey amazon, do you have any of these available??? the one i got is a thinner nylon fabric which is relaxed, not formed, the one thing i do like about this particular model of maglite made holster for the AA mini maglite is that it has a closed bottom, i got another model of maglite made holster awhile back that had an open bottom, which is fine if you have the longer AA mini maglite LED flashlight that is longer & does not fit in the holster amazon is selling here, in fact with the nite ize power button upgrade on the bottom & the maglite colored lens holder on the top, my non-LED AA mini maglite is still a little large for this holster, it fits & closes ok, but the velcro flap rides a little high so it doesn't make the most secure closure as it isn't using all the velcro... so, bottom line, i like it & will use it, but i can only really recommend it for the non-LED AA mini maglite without any accessories.oh yeah, another thing i like about the holster is the velcro flap belt loop, this makes it molle compatible, great product to attach your maglite to a molle pack, vest, or belt.great product overall, official maglite gear & made in the USA, but i deducted 1 star because amazon misled with the different pictures, boo amazon... 4Holds AA minimag securely Securely holds flashlight. Easy to take out and put back. Only negative comment is that bottom of light can scratch finishes (e.g., paint, enamel, wood furniture) if it accidentally brushes against them. I didn't have to worry about scratching anything when the metal light was entirely covered by my leather case that had a snap flap on top. 5Maglite AA Flashlight Black Nylon Full Flap Holster This product arrived quickly and was as ordered. The AA Maglite flashlight fit snuggly in the holder and the holder can be attached to a belt, pack, or other location as desired. This holster works great. 5Great case Works perfect with my Maglite. 5Does the job I like the design and it does the job but if you use the snap regularly it will loosen up after a short while and will unsnap at the slightest tug. Would I buy this again? Yes. Its reasonably well made and serves the intended purpose well. But I'll probably put a rivet through the snap at some point. 4Decent Maglite Holster for Duty Carry. Seems well built and sturdy. Fits on my 2 1/4" Duty belt quite well. Mini Mag fits snugly in holster and feels relatively secure and should stay put under most circumstances. I have my doubts that it will still be in the holster after some "Unexpected Recreation" but that is to be expected and the least of my worries at that point anyway. I do have some concern that it does seem to pop up in the holster while I am sitting and If I do not remember to push it pack down, it rides a little loose. Though that may be due to where I have it on my duty belt, I will experiment with it some to see what happens. Seems worth the price paid. 5Beware. This is a well made flashlight holster. But I have two issues with it. First, I wear the holster on my duty belt and if I brush against something the snap comes loose. The holster has fallen off my belt several times. Second, due to the shape of a mini-maglight the leather is stretched by the bell-shaped fore end of the flashlight. My holster has little retention after just a few months of use. 2
