Five Starsnice product. 5It's a really great mounting solutionI have three of these--one mounted on my desk, one mounted to a wall in a wiring closet, and another in a traveling suitcase as a more stable mount for that Mac Mini. It's a really great mounting solution. Using a combination of the screw mounts and a cable lock this is a very secure mount. 5it's okNot really happy with the locking mechanism - It is difficult to lock and unlock AND it looks flimsy - it looks to me like it could easily be circumvented with simple procedure ( which I won't describe here )But as an opportunistic theft deterrent I think this will work. 3A great security bracket, once you fix all its faults.The bracket itself is well enough made and makes a good starring point for someone willing to fix all the problems with it:* The locking mechanism is TERRIBLE. It is almost impossible to unlock without great struggle, but easily replaced with a far better quality one. The pictures indicate that a full cable comes with the bracket, but this is NOT included. Either way, you WILL have to supply your own cable.* Cable management on the bracket is a joke. It would work well, if all you had plugged into your computer was a power cable, but the amount of space for cables will not go much beyond that. Terrible design.* The bracket itself is VERY loose. What it needs is some good padding to help with avoiding scratching a computer and creating a snugger fit. This is easily done with some stick on pads.* Even with extra padding, the circular disk on the bottom of the Mac Mini 2018 still sits on the sides of the bracket, allowing the computer to wobble around. This is easily fixed with some stick on feet, which when added to the case, make the fit even better.The sad thing is, ALL of these are very simple things to fix. The parts needed could have been included with the bracket, but the manufacturer is clearly too cheap to do so. One star off for each item mentioned, plus an additional star for the effort involved in sourcing and fixing what would otherwise be a good product. That means zero stars, but since it is not possible to give that number, I'll give it one. 1Wall mount with lock.I bought for wall mounting a Mac Mini. I had no problem with the lock included. My Mac Mini is locked and no plans to move the computer, so it stays locked. I like it. 5Not ready for consumersAs many have mentioned, the Mac mini (2011 newer) does not fit well into the mount. Very loose.The lock included is of terrible quality, so be ready to purchase another lock.The aluminum base is not finished either (this is my biggest grip with the mount) there are numerous sharp projections of aluminum. I cut myself just putting the mini mount up. Wouldn't be safe for a public area for clients due to this fact.It's going to the trash and I'm looking elsewhere. 1It does the job...Purchased this enclosure for my work to secure a Mac Mini, it accomplishes the need of being a hardware security device but definitely has room for improvement. I purchased this uncertain about the locking mechanism but it worked out. I threw out the lock it came with and used our own security cable. As for improvement, I wish the enclosure included foam padding to better secure the mini, stopping it from moving around within the enclosure I'll probably end up adding wide weather stripping to this. 4Great productIt's a great product! I would have given a. 5 star review if i would have known that this product does not include a the cable trap, other than that this product definitely protects the device, and it's very durable. 4Four StarsCost is little high. 4Doesnt come with wireProduct works well, it doesn't come with the wire. The lock is weak, I can snap it with my own fingers. 1
