Could have a Space Gray finish.5Installs in minutesLoved it, could never understand how apple could do away with lock slot when you pay so much for their computers, give some sense of security.5Defeated with a few bucks and less than a minute.I was provided this by my company for "Security". However, you can remove it in about 30 seconds with a $8 security bit set from Harbor Freight. $8 seems like a pretty quick return on investment for a multi-thousand dollar laptop. Boo on Apple for not including a kensington lock in the unibody to start with.1Impossible to read the combination numbersOkay, the idea works, and essentially, the LOCK works.But the black chrome finish on both the cable combination lock frame and the rotating tumblers makes the numbers next to impossible to read in any sort of light. Is that a "0" or a "2"? Wait, maybe an "8"?? Who knows? And when you're trying to decouple your laptop with any degree of speed, well... that's a problem. Another thing that I wasn't too keen on was that the part that attaches to your Macbook slides along the slot. I would have liked for it to stay a bit more in place.I ended up returning this combination of lock and cable, reordering the lock only (the part that attaches to the laptopr itself) along with the Kensington brand cable, which looks far more legible. We'll see it that suits better.2
