    Lovely candle. Love Luminara candles. This one came without a remote but I had one that came with a previous purchase and it works with this candle. 5I will never buy real pillar candles again!!Exactly the same Luminara candle that I saw at a local high-end garden shop. I couldn't justify spending what they were charging for it!!! I was thrilled to find the same candle here on Amazon for such a bargain. I ordered it immediately. It comes in the manufacturer's box with plastic inserts inside to keep it from moving around in the box during shipping, plus a plastic protective sleeve over the wax. Directions are included.I got this to place in a sconce that is rather high up on the wall. I've already had a real candle burn down and drip wax all over the sconce, wall, chair railing and hardword floor. Uhh. Lots of scraping, sanding, repainting and aggravation. This Luminara candle will eliminate the chances of that ever happening again!! Plus, no smoke, no wick to trim and no more money spent on new replacement candles.The Luminara candle is exactly as advertised. Its made of wax and flickers and looks as close to a real candle as you can hope for. The timer feature is great....no having to get the candle down and turn it on and off. It does that all by itself. I opted not to get the remote right now, but I may do so in the fall when we have less daylight hours. The timer only keeps the candle on for 5 hours before shutting itself off for the next 19 hours. I checked to see if the candle was on and off at the right times and it is working as it should.Loving this candle!! Will be buying some for gifts.**One thing to note....when the batteries get low, the candle will blink to let you know to change them out. Nice feature!Update: These candles are fantastic. I have one in my bedroom that stays on for 10 hours a day and it's still running like a champ so far. Battery run time on these is pretty long too. And no black smoke mark going up the wall!!!!5Look like real flame!!Luminara makes The Best flameless candles around. The first time, the internal plastic packaging had cracked and scratched up the wax. I tried to fix it, but I only made it look different, not better. I quickly ordered a second in time for a holiday party but received an ivory colored candle with a vanilla scent.3Love, love, love these candles! I absolutely love these Luminara candles! I have a cat, so these candles give me the realistic look of a flame, but the safety of a battery candle! 5Worth the money.These are more expensive than other candles I have purchased, but they are much nicer and since they take larger batteries, they don't need battery replacement as often.5The perfect candle!!!I love the 360 view this candle provides.
