The screw is not copper-plated, as shown in the picture. Also, I'm certain these are cast iron, not forged steel. OTOH, the price is appropriate for cast clamps. These would have been incredibly cheap for forged clamps. 3Five Stars Good skoomem clamps. 5Liked it so much I bought another I mainly use this clamp for holding down pieces of metal pipe to my work bench, and changing brakes on my vehicles. Works great for me. I liked it so much that I ended up buying another one. 5
