We used four colors but three layers and it worked perfectly.4The holes were either not cut perfectly round or slightly ...The holes were either not cut perfectly round or slightly too small. We ended up having to drill the whole a bit more so it would fit. The sides are not perfectly straight....one side on each one is slightly higher than the other so we just had to make sure they were on the same sides.With these few adjustments it seems to work ok.3Great For Adding Another CrossbarBeing able to add a second crossbar was much needed and this item filled that need. They are made well and fit my stands however, one of the screws that holds it to the bar was missing and the vendor does not have one to ship. Thankfully, I found that an upholstery hoop screw is the same size so it worked. But...the screws that come with it do not tighten down enough to the stand tops which allow them to and spin around. I will try some tape around the tops of the stands to see if it gives the screws some grip to hold onto. Otherwise, these are great to have for the 2nd crossbar.3Please check dimensionsBe careful when purchasing the main hole doesn't fit my stand (the middle one). I tried to push it all the way down to screw in but only one side worked and that wasn't that sturdy either. Hopefully my husband can tweak it to work for me4Great Little adaptor to mount multiple backgrounds to background support standsVery nice little bracket set, very versatile, makes multiple backgrounds using the same stands easy. Sturdy enough to hold paper rolls, or fabric backgrounds. I've used it over the Christmas portrait season to quickly change fabric backdrops by removing one end of the support rod and simply swinging the background away, revealing the next background. Very nice addition to the studio. May get another set5these work good, just a little wobblythese work good , just a little wobbly. secure tight and these are good for its use. space saver and drops on the fly when you need4
