    lights work great worked real well, easy to install and easy to wire. all parts were in perfect working order and packaged vey well 5AS AN ELECTRICIAN - I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THESE. INSTALLED HUNDREDS! I am a professional electrician here in Long Island, NY. I have always loved these cans as a remodel fixture far above the rest of the competition. The old work clips are better, the junction box has better wire retention, and if used with the proper drywall holesaw the fit is flawless. They fit all the 5",6" LED retrofit trims that I know of. The design of the floating socket is great.Personally I've never felt ill about these fixtures, I recommend them to everyone. The 5" can is the perfect size as well. 5Perfect Fit and operated perfectly. Quality was as expected. 5Much better than Halo I used these cans on the recommendation of a close friend that is an electrician. The build quality and overall design is far superior to the ubiquitous Halo product. The mounting clip design allows for a much broader range of ceiling thicknesses, whereas the Halo system is difficult to work with on overlaid/thick ceilings. Also, the ability to move the location of the junction box is an added bonus. The free-floating socket system is nice as well.Incidentally, I found a non Lytecaster-style LED retrofit that works with these cans. (I wrote a separate review regarding this). The Sunco 13Watt 5/6"-Inch ENERGY STAR UL-Listed Dimmable Baffle LED Recessed Lighting Light Retrofit Kit Fixture Downlight , 2700K Warm White LED Ceiling Light, Wet Location -- 800LM, CRI 90 actually fits. All that is required is to remove the Halo-style spring clips & the unit snaps right into the Lytecaster can. The clip retainer seats nicely in the small lip inside the can. Not sure if this is recommended by either manufacturer, but this combination worked for me. Take it for what it's worth... 5
