    This is a Leviton - seriously? The seller accidentally placed two in my order. Good thing since the first one broke while removing from the packaging. These are razor-thin and worth maybe $1.99 simply because of the number of gangs. You can not tighten screws on these in any way without cracking the plate in other places. Not worth the headache to return and since I already knew the plate was junk before installing I left the screws a little more loose than usual. 1Boo! Very disappointing! The only thing saving this from being a single star review is that this is a difficult configuration to find so I gave it an extra star for being available. Other than that, I'm looking to replace it and it's only been on the wall for a few hours.It arrived with four total screws and needs eight. I had to pillage a few extra from other plates. It was much smaller than expected and barely covered the edges of a standard size four gang box. It does not seem to be machined correctly, the decorator or GFCI opening doesn't line up correctly. I ended up loosening all the screws for the switches in order to wiggle enough play in to line it up, but then it made the plate unadjustable to be made level. Even then it still won't line up correctly, but I can't tighten the screws down any further to draw it in. Once I finally got the switches to line up and started to tighten the screws down it immediately cracked. It did not have any undue pressure. The plastic is just very brittle and flimsy. Since I needed to get the box covered I went ahead and finished setting the other screws but now I'm looking for a replacement because this is junk. If I'm still annoyed next time I happen to come across this listing I'll probably reduce it to one star because this is a really frustrating problem to have come across with no recourse. It comes packaged in a plastic sleeve and the screws are loose inside, but I didn't see any holes where the screws might have fallen out during shipping. I noticed it was missing screws when I opened the box. Wish I'd returned it then but I didn't think it was a big deal. Overall, I'm very disappointed. I generally trust this brand for a quality product so I'm not sure what happened here. It doesn't even look like the other Levitron plates I am installing elsewhere. Wondering if it's a knockoff. 2Nice appearance, but pretty fragile. Do not order this along with other items. I purchased this item along with several others, and I think all the items in one box caused this plate to crack! I noticed the crack before I even removed the plastic sleeve it arrived in. Amazon was nice enough to replace it for free and when the new one was packed alone, there was no issues.That being said, the area around the large size opening is probably pretty weak, so be very careful to not over tighten screws, else you'll probably end up cracking it. The fit was spot on for my switches after a little adjusting. Changes are your switches are not perfectly aligned but thankfully there is some play in the mounting brackets. 4Very Satisfactory Light Switch Plate Hey, what's to say. It is a plate for multiple light switches. I needed the larger opening to accommodate my TP-Link WiFi switch for the outside lights. Now when I am coming home after dark I just use my smart phone to turn the outside lights on before I turn the corner to our house. The plate is the plastic recommended for a WiFi switch as a metal one might interfere with the signal. If that is a consideration for you. 5Actual outside dimensions are different than those stated. Actual dimensions are different than those stated. I bought this because it was supposed to be 8.6" wide but it is only 8 1/8". Also the height is stated as being 4.8" but it is 4 3/8". Because it is too small, I now either have to paint my wall all around the cover or try to find a larger cover. It was unreturnable/refundable, but considering the discrepancy Amazon issued me a refund.I give it 2 stars because other than the size discrepancy, it is a nice piece. 2Fragile It fits and looks good. However, be careful when screwing the plate to the wall. The plate is much more fragile than what i am used to. Most plates will flex when you turn the screw a revolution too far. This plate will crack. I am giving it 3 / 5 stars due to its fragility. If you are more careful than me, you should be ok. 3Mine wasnt good It arrived cracked. I installed it anyways didn't want to deal with hassle of return and just going in my garage. I put it up and it seems brittle since it was cracking somewhere else when I tightened one of the screws. 1Product arrived with missing screws. Product arrived with missing screws. The cheap plastic packaging is extremely poor for this wall plate. There was a hole in the manufacturer product packaging and a number of screws fell out of the packaging. I tried emailing Leviton eBusiness Support, but they are unresponsive. My advice to others would be to return for a quick exchange vs. trying to contact Leviton eBusiness Support. Much faster response to return and purchase a different one. It's a shame because I like the wall plate and I also received my new, matching dimmer, but I won't be able to install it until new plate arrives. Actually, I may consider the competing product just to make sure it arrives in one piece this time. 2Doesn't come with all screws, makes installation annoying The plate arrived without all screws. The quality does seem less than great - as mentioned in other reviews. I worry that once we finally buy screws from the hardware store that tightening them may crack it. Replacement screws from Amazon or Leviton seem to be impossible to get (they won't answer my emails). I would save your money and time and buy this in person at a normal hardware store. 1Perfect for decorating and designing for a personal touch This particular style is harder to find and I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$, but it needed to be placed on a white wall next to our front door and I wanted to tie in the 'leaves' wooden onlay above our front door. To solve this, I got this Leviton light switch plate for around $3.60 here on Amazon. Ordinary plastic white wallplate. Using a teeny tiny brush, I painted it using dark green enamel paint and then sprayed it with clear (non-yellowing) satin acrylic. Voila! Something different and fun. Shop around and get creative! 5
