    A very nice light. Great!!I use these for all my closets.Mounted above the door on the inside.Mostly I use Silverlite LEDs for their superior lighting. 5closet light code approved small fixture with a lot of light 5Excellent upgrade Installed 5 of these to replace 10 regular fixtures in the basement. Easy to install, plenty bright and overall a much cleaner appearance then the old style porcelain fixtures. Light bulb gives off way less heat than regular bulbs. Feel comfortable using these in all of the closets and in the attic as well. The energy star rating is a nice bonus! 5The cure for open-bulb fixtures Really good look. Much better than a typical open bulb fixture, this offers a lower profile (the bulb is shorter), protection of the bulb itself, and a little light dispersion to boot. Easy to install - love the wire pigtails rather than a screw terminal. Put about 5 of these in my basement so far, and I'll probably keep putting more in. Warning though, they are cheaper by about $2 at a Big Box Store. 5poor cover design Took advantage of a rare chance to put these lights, 14 of them, in the crawl space beneath my house. Really really don t like the design in that you can t attach the fixture to a ceiling box with the light guard in place and the light guard is held on with two small (#6 x ) screws. So you are on your back, with limited room, in the dark (except for your head-lamp) trying to handle small screws not fun. Light cover should at least be a twist-lock attachment. When the bulbs burns out it will be painful to change them because of the cover. I wish someone made an inexpensive low-profile fixture specifically designed for crawl spaces incorporating a grounded outlet. This one is close but needs work. 2Not reliable, look else where I should have followed the reviews here. I installed 5 of these units in our attic to replace incandescent fixtures, I figured these are safer. These units see extremely light duty, and yet after less than a year I am replacing bulbs.I am now searching for an alternative solution as the cost of the replacement bulbs is only a few dollars less than the whole fixture. So I may as well look for a new fixture that will cost me less in ownership than these. 1Excellent for a closet Current code (at least in my area) does not allow the old light bulbs in a closet. Since my contractor was moving a closet light, I chose to get some of these. It turned out to be a good choice. It can be a bit of a challenge to install - if the electrical box is not flush - as was one of the fixtures that I replaced. But it was worth the effort. My electrician liked it so much that he bought one of my extras (I ordered more than what I really needed) from me to use on another job. 5Good for Closets I purchased a couple of the Leviton 9860's to replace the old incandescent light in my closets. They are perfect for the job. The plastic cover is sturdy and withstands anything that might accidentally hit it in a closet (which was a problem with old hanging incandescent bulb. Powerful Light is provided by low consumption CFL bulbs. Easy to install. Happy with the purchase. 5safe closet light The fixture is rated 250 VAC, the included bulb is 110 volt.Sturdy construction.Plenty of light for a closet, with negligible heat.Stick-on battery powered lights often don't give enough light and can be a pain, this is a great alternative if you don't mind wiring it in.Very happy with these. 4Great Closet Light Great little light for a closet, hallway or store room. Instant on and does not put off much heat. I like the cool white light (2700K) as it makes colrs stand out better. 5
