A small price to pay to protect your investment. 5Very expensive but just about worth it !I had already bought the LensCoat for my Nikon 80 - 400 "as a test" and was hesitant about going the whole hog and getting this one for my Nikon 300 f/2.8 but I went ahead in a crazy moment and don't regret it. My only complaint, just as for the 80 - 400 is that the transparent plastic covering the AF controls makes it difficult to change the setting without pushing the cover to one side.Apart from that it's a good product but the illustration needs correcting as part 3 is missing there and that piece actually covers that part of the lens very nicely. 4GREAT ITEM!Wish I had ordered this YEARS ago! 5Works very well and I kayak with my gear, ...Works very well and I kayak with my gear, so these are essential to keep my stuff from banging together. Nikon lenses are black so the camo part...really not critical except that it does keep things cooler. Canon nature shooters would benefit from camo as those white lenses do stick out to critters. Everything fits as it should and stays put. Not cheap, but it's a $3000+/- lens. 5Overpriced, thin neopreneSadly, this is the only company making these, so they can charge what they want. We have bought some thicker neoprene and added layers to my main lenses, as with adequate cushioning, it's possible to shoot off a window, without extra bean bag or foam noodle. Often wildlife doesn't allow time to set up more support, so having enough cushion to be stable on a window is important to some of my shots. 3Good cover for the 300Only recently bbought this so cannot comment on durability, but it fits every area of the 300 lens well and should help keep the value of my very expensive lens. This is important if I resell the lens. Have looked at some pretty hacked up lenses on ebay. No one wants to purchase a good lens that has lots of cosmetic flaws from use. 5Fits very wellfits very well recommendef 5Great ProtectionFit perfectly and is holding up well. Anyone that shots with a big lens should spend the few dollars necessary to protect their equipment. This item is well worth the price. 5So worth it!Great product.
