good lighting, however the bulb is really huge Needs very little ceiling space, which is what I was looking for, good lighting, however the bulb is really huge, and not very elegant, I ended up taking them out and replacing them with a tiny LED strip... Would work better in an environment where light is important and look is not! 3Great I got these tomstch some other no-name Chinese LEDs our remodeler used. Perfect match, and nomore flickering. 5Excelent! They are nice, simple and elegant. Price is low and product is safe (12V) plunged in 110V. Good buy! 5Nice light when working, but its driver burst quickly. I am a remodeler and installed these lights in my kitchen and in my bathroom. The 6 5w units I installed in the kitchen lasted about a year and then started flickering until they burst one after the other; I replaced them with new ones, this time, i purchased the 7w and after 6 months they burst as well. At the time I ordered the replacement, I also purchased another 12 units, hopping that the first ones I purchased just had a manufacturing issue, unfortunately, this new ones already started blinking and looks like I ll have to replace them. Yes, I made a mistake by purchasing more knowing what happened with the first ones I purchased originally.Looks like the problem is with its driver, it is indeed made of a very poor material and not well wired.I would not recommend them it all unless they change the driver. 1Some people may dislike this. I prefer it Came weeks early. Obscenely bright. A dimmer is absolutely required. Just one of these things lights up my whole living room brighter than I prefer. I bought just one to try it out. I am impressed. Driver gets just barely warm to the touch. Heatsink is for uh, what heat? Only time can test longevity. Ambient temp at time of testing is 65f. By touch, I can't feel a temp difference between light, driver and ambient after running full-on for an hour. They are slightly more blue than daylight, 6500k, CFLs. Very narrow wavelength typical of the precision of an LED. Some people may dislike this. I prefer it. Glad I gave these a try. Buying more now. 5Five Stars Great product and exactly what I needed 5Love these lights! Still great after a year! Bought a total of 25 of these for a basement remodel. They have been in about 3 weeks. They are plenty bright; probably just as bright as normal 6 inch incandescent recessed lights would have been. Also, they were cheaper!! Arrived quickly with 2 day prime shipping. We had little space between the suspended ceiling and joists, so these worked perfectly. They clamp in easily. I put them on LED dimmers and they dim ok for LED. Not a real smooth transition, but I am very satisfied. Also I love the color of the Cool White. No yellow hues. I spaced most of them at 4 to 6 feet apart and they provide plenty of light all over the basement. The silver color of the housing looks great against the white ceiling! The only thing I will say is, the leads aren't very long, so it makes it hard to connect in a junction box that can't be placed right above the light. We don't have building inspections, so we just wire nutted the lights in series and then wrapped each of the connections in electrical tape. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you are in an area that isn't easily accessible to check for problems but so far, we've had none. I would totally recommend to anyone looking for modern, efficient, compact lighting at a great price.Update: 1/26/16 These lights are still going strong after a year. All 25 of them are still functioning correctly. I highly recommend these lights. 5Lighting is Great I used a Lutron Maestro Dimmer works Great ( ... Lighting is Great I used a Lutron Maestro Dimmer works Great ( I give a 5 in this Category). However I like to listen to Radio at Night and RFI is Horrible. Radio is completely buzzed out by this Light ( I give it a Zero in this Category). If you are not a Radio listener by Bedside or Kitchen this Light is for you. I installed this light over my Combo Bed Headboard, Mirror, Drawer Unit. I am thinking of replacing it with a newer Lemonbest Unit touted as "No RFI" - (Radio Frequency Interference). 2Could be great but... One was defective and the other would not work with the wireless dimmer switch from LE. I still like the look of this model as its angle can be adjusted. Nobody could tell me which wireless dimmer would work with this unit, though. 3Great light. A little bluish white Great light. A little bluish white. A warm white is too yellowish and cool white is kind of blue white. Need a third option for someone to choose lights in the range of 4500K-5500K color. Transformer is kind of cheap plastic material and heat up fast, so safety is a concern here. Wires are too short and small ga, you need to put all wire connections in a metal box to meet US codes when install these lights. The gap between the light body and the trim part is also a concern as your AC/heat air can leak thru the ceiling and down/up. Dimmable range is too small and hard to see its effects if you are used to a descending lights dimming. 4
