    good solid "ears" for holding it in place Well-made frame, good solid "ears" for holding it in place, although there is little to distinguish them from the Carlon units you often find at popular home center stores. I bought these trying to find a product that didn't have gusseted corners, because the device I was going to mount in them needs every millimeter I can get. These have gussets, so I wasn't able to use them in that application (unless I Dremel'ed the gussets off). Still, they seem well made, and for other LV applications will definitely be usable and perfectly fine. 3Great for our Home Theater The only thing missing in our theater was a little organization. Wires were everywhere. So when we remodeled, this was top of the list and has made our home theater feel so much more professional. 5As AdvertisedAs Advertised4Exactly what you need Not much to say; they are exactly as advertised. Though I did give a 5*, because they deserve it, the one thing that I think it's missing is a draw-template for marking your hole.I ordered two because I found, while replacing outlet cover plates, the previous owner (or the cable company) had simply screwed the cable outlets into the drywall...meaning when I tried to unscrew them...insta-stripped. So, I needed a proper (and up to code) low-voltage gang box to mount them to.These are easy to install (would be easier with a template); mount securely, and work great. 5Not the best outlet boxThis is a pretty flimsy outlet box for my low voltage outlets. After installing a few years later when the basement was finished, I found the holes fit perfectly and that I was measuring on the mounting plate holes, not the inside holes. The clamps secure to the wall board firmly. I was going to return this bracket, but I couldn't find a replacement locally. So I was going to cut the sides and make it fit.
