    Perfect for old dollhouse lighting project This 24v transformer takes 120v AC house current and transforms to 24v DC in our 100 year old antique Colonial dollhouse. The transformer works GREAT but I did have to cut the little plug off the end and hard wire into the dollhouse's electrical system. No big deal and lights work great! Had some problems with bulbs burning out but verified that the transformer was putting out 24v DC current which was over-whelming my in-line string of bulbs (22v total). This was my fault....the transformer works great. 5better than the original Purchased to use with my Silhouette Cameo 2 because a power surge killed the one that came with my machine. Works great and is actually a better quality than what came with my machine (or so says my electrician father). Cord is really long too, which is great for us crafters! 5Works great with my Fanatec Porsche 911 GT2 Wheel + Clubsport pedals The used sim racing wheel and pedals I bought were missing the power cord. This one matches the voltage and current requirement and is cheaper than any other replacements I could find. I haven't had it long enough to rate the durability, but so far it's working great. 524VDC 2A Power Supply I purchased the power supply for RF tag reading equipment in the field. The need was completely unrelated to LEDs. The DC current type, the 24V, and the 2 amps were all within the equipment manufacturer's specs. I cut off the sleeve, stripped insulation from the wires, and distinguished the DC+ and DC- with a multimeter. I then rigged up this power supply along with the necessary signal wiring with gator clips. That was sufficient to bring the equipment in from the field and comfortably troubleshoot it in a lab. 5Silhouette Cameo working agaiin because of this purchase. Cord on my Silhouette Cameo frayed and quit working. Found this one as the correct voltage/watt power, ordered it and now back in business with my machine. This cord is a lot sturdier than the one that came with the machine. I would recommend this for anyone that needs a replacement cord. 5Worked, now it doesn't. Not sure what the slowly dimming light means on the power brick. This powerbrick replacement worked perfectly. It matched the previous brick that I had in all aspects. I would have given it a 5, but it has stopped working. The green light goes from bright green, dimming, to dark over a 8-10 second time period and no longer powers my pump. It has been mounted externally and above and potential water area with a drip loop, so there is no chance of water contamination. I'd like to warranty replace this ASAP as the product says it has a 1 year warranty. If I can get the matching one and it works, I will be happy to give a 5 star. It did not receive a one star as it worked as it should have right out of the box. I purchased on March 20, 2017 and installed it on March 25, 2017. 2Not instant. Has a short power-on delay. Takes somewhere around half a second to turn on, sometimes closer to 1 full second. With LEDs wired to a light switch as the primary light source in a room, this is quite annoying, as we're used to lights that turn on instantly.Otherwise seems fine. 3Gets HOT!! Gets HOT!!I am not anticipating a hazard but this power supply gets really hot although it is not connected to the entire 16 feet led strip lights I intended it to.I am concerned. So when I am not around I disconnect it.I appreciate a response from the manufacturer to find a remedy for it. 2Works with a Logitech G25 Steering wheel I lost the power supply to my Logitech G25 racing wheel (it's a force feedback steering wheel you use for video games/racing simulation). It needed a 24v 1.75 amp power supply, but I though it would be good to overspec it a bit so as not to overload the power supply. It works great. The jack fits perfectly and I didn't have to splice a new end to it.
