A Decent Risk for Drizzle But Not A Monsoon This zippered, Lacdo case is flexible and reasonably sturdy. If I had no protective case at all for my external CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive, I'd use it carefully, making sure it was inside yet another protective covering, like a briefcase. As things stand, I keep by external drive protected in the hard-shell case provided by the mechanism's manufacturer and have yet to use the Lacdo. Therefore, I cannot evaluate its durability, but Amazon makes one award stars, whether one wishes or not. 4Ruined zipper area One star only because the item had a stain/dirt on one side and the zipper. But the quality seems good. Returning this for a new clean product. Unsure why it came dirty when it came in a plastic bag.... 1Perfect for power bank Bought this case to carry my Omnicharge power bank. Fits perfectly even thought this is not its intended use. Inside feels extremely soft, like velvet. Case is beautiful designed and feels quality. Small pocket is tight, bit can fit skinny cables. 5Perfect fit for the Apple USB SuperDrive I was worried how well it would fit, but it's like a glove --- we are very happy to have this to protect such an expensive Apple accessory! I wish this came in a variety of colors. 5A truly fantastic storage and carrying case for slim optical disk drives This portable optical drive case was the only one that perfectly fit my Pioneer slim Blu-ray drive, keeping it snug and secure. I dropped the case a few feet onto the floor by accident, with drive inside, and this case perfectly absorbed the impact. I didn't worry about my drive being damaged at all. That's substantially better than the other cases I tried, which were dramatically too big and allowed the drive to bounce around inside.I love the material on this case - it's durable and liquid-resistant, and fashionable in an understated way. The only area that could possible be improved is the front, zippered pocket - it's a bit small, and fitting more than just one USB cable inside there is a challenge. Also, I have a feeling that the front pocket will sooner or later become deformed in the outline of the cable stored inside, because the pocket is so snug. Player is snug, but not overly so, and I am confident that it would protect my DVD Drive if I happened to drop it. The side zippered pocket is great for the USB cord. Although I wasn't sure about the Red color on the outside, it is actually more of a brown leather color and looks great. This is an awesome case! 5
