    Four Starsit okay. just have issue with the back lock screw. 4Heavy duty, well made and works with Manfrotto Super Clamp accessoriesI bought the Kupo Convi Clamp to mount an audio recorder, LED light, softbox, backdrop pole, etc., in cramped quarters inaccessible to tripods and light stands. And it takes my Linco Flora Light bank or Yongnuo LED without flinching, clamping tight onto any typical size tube or board. I'm surprised how much weight it can handle.I own an older Manfrotto Super Clamp and the Kupo Convi Clamp appears to be a close copy of the Manfrotto. Both clamps are cast aluminum and built to last. The main difference is the Manfrotto is lighter and has plastic T-screw handles, is made in Italy rather than China and shipped with a hexagonal pin with 3/8 stud. The Kupo is sold ala carte, so you ll need to buy a baby pin or hexagonal stud to attach something to it, but T-handles are metal. Manfrotto hexagonal studs fit perfectly in the Kupo so accessories may be shared. I especially like using these clamps with the Kupo EZ Grip Finger and extension poles.I also own the short handle version of this clamp, Kupo Convi Clamp - Black, KG700511, and they re identical save for the handle length.The Kupo Convi Clamp is excellent and a little less expensive alternative to the Manfrotto and Avenger Super Clamps. I don t think you can have too many of these in your studio. 5Four StarsVERY strong. 4NiceFit and finish is better on this than my Impact version of this clamp but I like the length of the lever handle on the Impact brand better. The lever on the Kupo is short by comparison. 5Makes up for its weaknesses in handy features.It's not the best clamp, but it does the job and has a feature(the ratchedted handle) that's not present in Manfrotto's default clamp. So that's pretty neat. 5Five StarsFantastic, well-made, durable piece of kit. 5Rock solid, versatile!This unit (Kupo clamp) fits perfectly with the Kupo Grip Head with hex stud. Together they allow you to pretty much mount anything onto anything else. The clamp grips to a leg or side (tripod leg, video light pole, side of a table, etc) while the grip head will hold any bar or extension.I personally use the two with carbon fiber pipes (you can also use plastic, aluminum) to precisely place fill light and microphones where I need them. Saves hours of rigging when compared with other improvised solutions. Easy to set up and take down, just seconds. 5The Everything Grip Clamp - Kupo Convi Clamp with Adjustable HandleEverything requiring grip, we use, starts with a Clamp & a Pin. We have several brands. We prefer this one. The Handle can be pulled, under tension, to move in another direction, out of the way. The single clamps are the best for maximum flexibility. Two of these together, pole extension for VESA Monitor Mount, LANC Control Mount etc. Two rotated 90 degrees - Vertical & Horizontal grip. A Clamp & Baby Pin - DigiPlate Mount. Setting a Video Camera where no Tripod is possible. And the List goes on. This is the way to go with Clamps!The Pins, that's a whole other story - Baby Pin, Hex Pin, Double Sided Hex Joining Stud, Double Sided Joining Stud, 90/45 Degree Offset! You'll need a collection of Pins! Start with 4 Clamps and 2 Pins, grow from there. Then you'll need a Grip Gear Bag - Porta Brace Cordura Carrying Run Bag for Grip Essentials (it's BIG - Full requires a dolly to move) or Porta Brace SP-1 Sack Pack, Small (manageable - No shoulder strap).
