Absolutely Fantastic I've been debating on whether I wanted to get a professional backpack or a messenger bag for work for quite some time. I work in the IT sector so having a good bag means everything when traveling for the job. After looking around for some time I decided to wait until the Amazon Prime Day to see what kind of deals it may have.Prime Day hits and several leather messenger bags go by. Overall I wasn't pleased with their looks and wanted something that looked both comfortable and work-worthy. Then the Kopack backpack came up. Right away I was impressed with the look and decided to bite the bullet and order it.From day one I was blown away with how awesome this backpack is. The design makes it look almost like a black leather from far away. The look goes great with my business suits (Yay for corporate IT jobs that make you wear a suit and tie, but still expect you to crawl on the floor while installing gear on racks!) and the padding is absolutely comfortable. The material feels like some type of nylon and the fact that it's waterproof is a deal maker thanks to the type of equipment it protects. One of the best features though is the anti-theft department where the laptop sits. Unlike traditional backpacks where your laptop faces outward, the laptop/tablet spot is actually between the backpack and your back facing you, which makes it impossible for anyone to run up behind and attempt to steal it.Fantastic product - BUY. Thank you 5Medium and Large Backpack Review I got both the Medium and Large backpack and so I will review both and compare them side by side!Comfort:I have to say that these backpacks are hands-down the most comfortable I've ever used. They are well-cushioned and fit snugly over your shoulders and on your back. Sometimes, when I am late to class or have to catch the bus I have no worries running with my backpack since it is secure to my back and doesn't jiggle like the previous backpacks I have used. The biggest plus for me is that it seems to help with my posture because the backpack sort-of forces me to open my chest and stand up straight, especially with a laptop in the bag. I definitely feel much better walking around for long periods with it on and sometimes it feels like i'm not wearing a backpack at all!The medium fits snugly on my back, with the bottom sitting just above my waist if loosened or well above my waist if tightened. (I'm 5' 6")The large, due to its longer height, sits right above my waist when tightened.Size/Capacity:I think Kopack nailed the sizing of the backpacks for the two sizes as they cater well to specific groups that might prefer one or the other.The Medium is perfect for a student or a commuter who needs to carry a light to medium load. I could fit 2 standard textbooks comfortably in the main compartment along with a 15in. laptop in the laptop compartment. I could fit chargers and school supplies easily in the main or the front pouch as well. As a college student, the Medium easily fits everything I need on a regular day and I highly recommend it. If you have a 15in. laptop, this can barely fit it, but the zipper enclosure will contact the computer edges and I worry about damage to either the computer or the backpack. If you have a 15in. computer or larger (especially gaming laptops), I recommend the Large.The Large is quite a bit larger than the Medium, but doesn't really seem like it when you wear it or have it out by itself. This is for heavy packers or for long trips such as for camping or business travels. My 15in. laptop has tons of room sitting in the laptop component and I can fit 3 standard textbooks comfortably in the main compartment. The one huge difference between the two sizes besides the depth of the backpack is the height. As you can see in the photo, the Large backpack is significantly taller than a Medium (which is already quite tall to begin with). My textbooks probably reach about 60% of the full height of the backpack, which can be a good or bad thing for most people. I kind of like it because I can fit my lunch box and some other things such as speakers, pencil boxes, or spare clothes on top of the textbooks. If you're just planning to put books in the backpack, you might have a lot of real estate you don't take advantage of. I like to take this one when I'm traveling so I can pack as much stuff as possible. If this still doesn't fit everything you need, you'll probably need a suitcase or duffel bag XDUtility/Compartments:The two sizes are identical in terms of compartments and design, apart from the height, width, and depth.The front-face "hidden" zipper is great for putting little things like keys, phones, snacks and things that you take in and out often.The front zipper compartment is a thin compartment which can probably hold a few journals, notepads, chargers, etc. The compartment has a mesh zippered enclosure and two large slots for items such as chargers or cords, etc. and two slots for pens and pencils.The back main zipper compartment is roomy and is where most of your stuff will go. As I mentioned earlier, the Medium can fit 2 standard textbooks comfortably and more while the Large can fits 3 or more comfortably plus additional items on top. It also has a large slot for a tablet, two medium slots for phones/portable banks, and a zipper enclosure that can fit a passport wallet or equivalent. An important note is that for the Medium bag, a large laptop like a 15in. would constrict these slots and you may have trouble putting anything in them. The Large doesn't have this problem since the laptop enclosure is so spacious.The back laptop enclosure is what you'd expect. The laptop will essentially be resting against your back (which can help with the posture). The Medium can fit anything up to a 13in. and you may get away with fitting an average-sized 15in. The Large can easily fit laptops up to 17in.There is also a "secret" enclosure at the bottom of the back where you can put important things such as keys, wallets, etc. I personally don't use this but it's a nice feature.There are two side slots, one on each side, for holding things such as pencil cases or bottles. I love the design of these since they have an elastic band that keeps them securely closed to fit smaller things such as usb drives or coins and also to securely hold taller items such as water bottles so they don't fall out with everyday use (or when running :P).Material/Quality:I was pretty surprised with the quality of the materials used in these backpacks. I won't go into too much specifics and actual composition of the material, but it looks like there is a plastic thin mesh on the outer layer of the main material that is coated to be water-resistant. It feels smooth to the touch but you can also feel the little grid pattern. It is water-resistant but don't expect this to keep everything safe in a downpour. This can keep things safe in a light shower or drizzle with no problems. The padding is situated deliberately and is indeed very comfy. St. Louis summers tend to be very humid and hot, but my back didn't get sweaty much at all with this on.I've attached some pictures of both backpacks. The blue backpack is one of my old backpacks (which is awaiting its death bed) for comparison. The pictures of the compartments are from the Medium backpack and the pictures of the open backpack with textbooks and additional items are from the Large backpack.If you have any further questions about either backpack, feel free to comment and I will try to answer them as best as I can!You may be wondering why I am being so try-hard with this review, but I originally paid for the Medium bag but had trouble with my 15in. laptop. Kopack graciously offered me a Large backpack in return for an honest review of their product so here I am! I have to say with all honesty that I do love these backpacks and one of my co-workers saw me wearing this backpack and promptly bought one the next day! (The Medium)I will update this review with more information/pictures if need be. Have a nice day! 5Painfully Uncomfortable I took the risk of replacing my excellent Samsonite Novex, which is now quite expensive, for this cheaper (in price and quality) Kopack. That was a big mistake. First of all, there are some basics that make it less useful for business use. The front pocket has a vertical zipper, which means things fall out instead of into the pocket. In addition, there is no dedicated space for binders, folders, or books. But it would still might warrant three stars if the materials were not so poorly measured and stitched together. As you can see from the pictures, there is too much material between the pads on the back; therefore it bunches up and pokes my back (the material between the pads comes out further than the otherwise elevated pads do). This is, by far, the hardest and thickest material used to make the backpack (the rest is relatively light and flexible) and so it actually cannot be smoothed out. It is this way even without anything inside. Add a notebook or laptop and it just makes it worse. Wearing this actually hurts my back; I can use it at the office, but I certainly will never bring this on a trip. Wearing it for more than a few minutes would cause more than temporary pain. 1DO NOT BUY. Top handle destroyed in 3 weeks and very little limited space inside. The top handle dettached in 3 weeks and made the backpack difficult to use and handle. Had to give it away and buy a new one: the Amazon Choice product that despite tricky looks turned out to be an awesome purchase. This product looked tooo good but the quality is deceiving. The fabric is actually waterprooof but too thick which makes the backpack too heavy even empty and the design is poor with very little volumetric capacity so it has to be used exclusively as an office backpack. The other product I just bought is much more versatile and I can use for travel or even small grocery shopping sometimes. i can also fit my lunchbag in it along with other winter stuff. This product on the contrary has almost no space in it. 1I really recommend this backpack I really recommend this backpack, it is very comfortable to carry, the design of " shoulder straps" are very perfect to not bother shoulders in trips and it has a very strong fabric. I like the separate spaces it has for laptop, tablet and etc to be more organized to find stuffs more easier. I had a Delsey laptop backpack for many years and couldn't find any backpack more comfortable shoulder strips than that. But after buying this backpack I'm really satisfied and happy of my shopping without any doubt. 5Even my beast of a laptop fits inside! I'm glad to finally have a backpack that my HP dv7 laptop (its a beast at 17.3 inches). My laptop slips into the well padded compartment easily and it zips closed without stretching the fabric or having to force the zipper to close. It has extra padding that feels like thick memory foam on the back at the shoulders and the lower back so you don't feel the stiff laptop against your back.Other than the laptop compartment, it has two large main compartments with separate zippers. These 2 compartments have interior pockets. Some interior pockets have a zipper and some are slip pockets. There is also zippered pockets on the very front of the bag and at the bottom of the back of the bag.The inside stays dry in light to moderate rain for a while, but I wouldn't trust it in a downpour or for extended periods. The materials it is made of feel strong and of good quality. You can see the care that went into designing this bag by details like the brand logo being printed on some of the interior fabric.This backpack would be great for a high school or college student, someone who works in the tech industry, or for traveling. This will definitely be my carry-on bag for my next trip.Disclaimer: I received this item at a discount or as a free sample in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. 5Very nice. Larger brother of a smaller one I also purchase from Kopack. I like both. This was my second Kopack backpack purchase in less a year. It's not because I had to replace the first one. I gave the first one to my daughter. She killed two of my backpacks of other "name brands". A good brand turned out to be too heavy for her. My first Kopack was fairly light yet sturdy. So is this one. It's a bit larger with a different design especially for the side bottle holders. The hand holder on top is a bit weaker than the first one. These were not significant. This backpack still looks good. I do wish that Kopack can keep producing the same design as their smaller brother. I like the smaller one better. And, I wish the hand holder can be larger. All said, the two Kopack backpacks are still the most satisfying backpacks I have ever bought. Versatile, light weight yet strong, water repelling, looks nice. Keep up the good work Kopack. 5very happy with my purchase very happy with my purchase, i use it solely for work and i'm a train commuter, so here is my list of likes and dislikes:Likes: sturdy material and base allow it to stand-up (so i can access my compartments without the backpack flopping around); material does a solid job of repelling water; 2 main compartments with smaller sleeves allow both capacity and organization; separate laptop compartment; 3rd easy access zip compartment for keys, train pass, smart device, etc.; 2 side sleeves for liquid containers or portable umbrella (holds mu over-sized coffee mug very snugly); well padded shoulder straps and backing material, i really like how this backpack sits my shoulder and back (even with the laptop inside); nice handle to allow me to tote as a briefcase.Dislikes: for me its the level of branding on the backpack, would like a tad less, but its certainly not a deal breaker.Note to Kopack, not sure how you landed on the backpack name Tigernu, but I'd rethink the name, why not go with Kopack? 4Classy, sturdy and Spaceous Firstly, this is an honest opinion, I have not been paid or received any gifts for this review (although I am open to this :-) )Bought this as a replacement for my travel carry-on bag - I go on at least 3 flights every month. The bag is comfortable when on my back and I do not sweat thanks to its design. The zippered laptop compartment in the back is very handy when going through the airport security check points, I put my laptop and a tablet in there and I remove and replace them with ease - no fiddling about getting them out or putting back in.The compartments inside can hold a lot of stuff and weight - I figured I had about 20 lbs of stuff in it during my last trip and the bag held up with no issues and was comfortable on my back when walking through the airports.The side pockets are very practicable for putting putting 2 water bottles in them, even when the bag is full.The "hidden" zippered compartment is well concealed - I sometimes forget that I have one.The Backpack looks very classy and is very neat looking 5
