Customer Reviews

I like them! Would buy again! These are just what I was looking for! The slim fit wrist that tucks under my coat sleeve is great! The leather gets broken in nicely and fits just right! I work outside And this winter has been avaraging around 33-19 degrees F and they have kept me pretty warm throughout. Not the most water proof but they okay... Treat them like leather shoes and put on some oil to help make them last and repel water.A stitching came loose on the right hand whicb gets worked more then the left. This was after several weeks and it getting wet regularly. 4Runs big I've used kinco gloves for years as a ski patroller and for personal use as many others have stated. Love these gloves. However the sizing on these particular version feels off. I don't like gloves that are too long and the medium in these fits like a large compared to their other versions. I ordered a small, which normally would never fit me and it felt like a medium. 4Awesome ski gloves! As many others have stated, these are the best all-around ski gloves I've ever used. A ski patrol friend told me about them back in 2015, so I bought a pair. Now I know why so many ski patrols, lift operators, lift mechanics, instructors, and other ski area employees, and local ski junkies wear these gloves. They're rugged and warm enough for all but the coldest days, ant they're exceptionally cost-effective. I have a pair of 901's stashed in the truck for those cold days and a pair of Gore-Tex gloves for the wet days. I have two ski seasons (over 120 days) on this first pair of 1927KW's, and expect to get at least another season or two out of them. 5Bought for the tow rope. Looks good, feels good. I bought these for my 10 yr old Grandson who skis @ a ski slope with a rope lift which tears regular gloves to shreds in a matter of a few hours. After searching forever for a ski glove that would fit his age group and hold up to the abuse, but finding nothing specifically made for the purpose, I found these in extra small and they fit. He loves them, he believes they will be warm enough and he believes they will hold up well against the tow rope ! I'll report back if it's a no go for whatever reason, they are not warm enough or they don't hold up. If they do work out, I'll buy more. 5Sized For Working Hands! So many glove manufacturers these days seem to imagine that an extra-large glove should fit an average hand. Perhaps where they are made people's hands are smaller, I don't know. Anyway, THANK YOU Kinco for making gloves that fit on American hands! I've tried on many a pair of XXXL gloves that my daughter could wear. I'm a six foot tall man who works with his hands, not some giant or basketball player; I shouldn't have to cram my hands into an XXXL and not even be able to flex my fingers! These Kinco XXLs fit me comfortably. I've been buying this brand and model for some time now. I get a full winter of rough use out of 2 pairs (I cut and haul a lot of firewood) so they are reasonably durable under very tough conditions. They keep my hands toasty warm under all conditions. I put a nice layer of Sno-Seal on the leather parts every 3 weeks or so and they keep my hands pretty dry in the snow, too. I highly recommend this product. A size 13 hand with big, thick fingers (mine) fits very well in the XXL. 5I just keep buying them over and over. I wear these 6-7 days a week as a ski patroller in Washington. When it is extremely cold (below 20 degrees) my hands can feel a little cold, but at that temp it is dry enough that the moisture free air doesn't feel as cold. I thought I would not like the fabric backing (these are the ONLY practical leather gloves they make in an XS so I can't get the all-leather ones) but I only really notice it when I am skiing fast and it is around 32 degrees, so the air and maybe my gloves are slightly damp, which makes them feel cold on the back. One pair lasts a whole season (4-5 months), and longer if you remember to put snoseal on them often enough. The are super fast and easy to pull on and off often. Even though they are insulated they have great dexterity for tying clove hitches, etc. 5Good winter work gloves These gloves fit as xxl gloves should the insulation is good and the pigskin does not seem to have any thin spots or any defects in stitching. I have owned several pairs of xxl gloves and these are the largest while the length of fingers works for me the girth for the lack of a better term is a little less than snug for insulation purposes this is good, but for actual work a tighter fit would work better. So i kind of see it as a balance. I have a pair of buffalo gloves that have 150g thinsulate and they fit better but that close fit works against the insulation and well as a result are not as good at keeping me warm. I have never had a perfect pair of winter work gloves however for someone these are going to be better fitting. a balanced fit for me so 5 stars. 5Not quite the right fit I had an old pair (over 18 years!) that just finally blew out. They had held up for so long that I wanted another. Kinco pair. It s very hard to find small work gloves that fit women that I can try on in a store. My old ones were men s small and so I ordered the small again, but this time they re much bigger. There is enough extra room in the tips of the fingers that I lose dexterity. I m keeping them as a spare but trying another brand. 3Buy these. Simple as that. These are my favorite glove. durable, cofortable, and reasonably warm. Use for anything from skiing to work around the house. I treat with a waterproofing wax when i first receive them, and it works great to make them all weather and i feels like it adds to the overall durability of the leather over time as well. Note that for extreme cold when my hands are NOT active, these are not warm enough. But for most work around the house, and for skiing when its above 10F or so, these usually fit the bill for me.Don't buy a pair - buy at least 2-3 right away as you'll need them and sure enough, when you need a second pair, it will be mid season and they'll probably be out of stock in your size like what happened to me! You'll never buy an expensive pair of ski or other specialty gloves again. 5Regular local skier/part-time weekend "Liftie" ... I *love* these gloves. As a regular weekend "Liftie" at a northeast ski resort, I *love* these gloves. I have both the 1927KWs and 901s. I do a couple of treatments of SnoSeal using the oven trick to get them ready for outside work. (First : Use a Sharpie permanent marker for your your name or initials on the leather portion. Second : I warmed my gloves in a 200-180 F oven for 5-10 minutes, then applied the SnoSeal to the warm leather of the glove...twice) I have three pairs of the 1927KWs and a pair of 901s as my backup ski gloves. The 901s are a little more durable because of the additional leather but do not break in as quickly and not quite as flexible. (but I love them too for the colder days) I purchased a pair of these 1927KW everyday wear around the house. Since we are getting close to the end of the season & the price drops (occasionally), I am going to purchase a couple more pairs for my inventory. I have recommended these gloves to my various coworkers at my "day job" job for shoveling and snow blowing. Once these gloves are broken in, they will be your favorite "go-to" gloves. Not the gloves I would reach for in the coldest of weather. As other reviewers have mentioned, look around at many of the local regular skiers, ski patrol and lift operators, you will see a lot of these gloves.Update : After yet another season at the mountain as regular skier & part-time Liftie, these Kinco gloves continue to meet or exceed my expectation. In fact, I have purchased these gloves for two of my daughters and encouraged my brother to purchase a pair as well. They are just great winter work gloves and "every day wear" gloves. I have three pairs of these gloves for work now, one to wear while the other two are drying out from the previous days. Because of the great price of these gloves, that is easily affordable. However, they dry out over a heater vent just fine. Remember to apply your favorite leather treatment afterwards. 5
