No longer usable It looks nice and it was cheap. However after a couple months, it became loose and now leans down towards the ground. I took it apart to try to tighten it, and there is no way to do so. The nut and bolt just spins together doing absolutely nothing. You get what you pay for. 1Clean, modern look but faulty construction (not evident until after a few months of use) For several months, I absolutely loved this toilet paper holder, its clean, modern lines and its ease of use. However, after some six months of use, the rod starting dropping and no amount of re-tightening can fix it as the tightening screw and base are done for.You might get more life out of it if you treat it extremely gently (i.e. never touch or apply any pressure to the rod itself), but if you have kids or a husband around, forget about this beautiful KES Toilet Paper Holder and get the Moen Align or the Kubic Ginger (same look, better construction, but significantly more expensive).I never thought that I would one day consider shedding $120 on a toilet paper holder but after my experience with this one, the idea is not as unappealing as it once seemed... I just hope the new holder I get will cover the screw holes this one left behind... 3Well made hardware - just needs proper instructions! I received this quickly and it seems to be very well made. I did have an issue with the directions for a different product being included with the hardware. I was looking for a bracket to attach it to the wall and did not realize that the bracket had come screwed into the toilet paper holder already. If the company's website were active or if the assembly instructions were posted on this Amazon page, this would have been so much simpler. Attached is a photo showing how the back of the toilet paper holder as it comes shipped. The next photo shows the bracket separate from the toilet paper holder, after you unscrew the tiny screw using the included Allen wrench. 4I like these TP holders because they're simple looking These are very unique. I saw this idea in a model home and couldn't wait to try it out in my house. I like these TP holders because they're simple looking. They were easy to install, and can be installed either vertically (which is what I did) or horizontally. The only thing I don't like is the toilet paper doesn't sit level on them....it needs like a little platform or something....which this lacks. Not sure if I like the look or not, but it's cool and different so I'm going with it. 4TP and Roommates I bought this because I live with idiots who never replace the toilet paper roll. The first day I got it I installed it right away. The next morning we were out of TP and they still took the new roll and set it on the sink instead of the dispenser rod. They continued to do the same thing four days in a row. After an expletive fueled stomp through the house and a myriad of threats the rolls now appear on the dispenser at regular intervals. I've also upped my wine consumption.This dispenser is a champ, it looks great, it was easy to install. I'd buy more but I only have one bathroom. 5Easy, Attractive, Efficient If you live with anyone who doesn't take the time to change toilet paper rolls when they are empty, this might be your answer.My bathroom is very small, and the only place you could feasibly hang a holder is directly opposite the toilet which means to get to the shower/tub you have to walk between the holder and the toilet. The previous owner had never installed one and had left a free-standing holder. I had several criteria for a holder - 1.) it had to be low profile because of the space restrictions so we didn't knock our chins against the holder; 2.) it had to have as little permanent impact in case we found it was too much in the way and wanted to remove it; 3.) it had to be easy off and easy on for a roll; 4.) the roll couldn't be easily brushed off if someone knocked against it on their way to the tub.When I saw this holder pictured pointing straight up I was pretty hopeful it would suit my purposes. That was what I had pictured in my head, something that pointed up so we could just drop a roll down on it and not worry that we would constantly be brushing it off the holder every time we walked past it. As it turns out, I mounted it on the wall horizontally to see how that worked, and it works perfectly.It is attractive, while being fairly unobtrusive, not calling attention to itself. I've tried knocking the roll off by swatting it with my hand, and it stays on. That little knob on the end does its job.It was also very easy to install. Two simple screw holes in the wall so if we ever want to remove it, we'll only need to caulk those two holes. It is also sturdily attached. I've pulled on the holder to be sure it isn't flimsily installed. 5Cheap cheap cheap You get what you pay for. Doesn t look terrible from a distance, but you have to handle it like it s glass. Wouldn t recommend for anyone who has a teen/child/toddler. The screw that tightens the actual holder onto the mount doesn t secure this well. Therefore it sags and isn t level. I m sure eventually it ll just hang straight down and the TP will fall off the bar. I ve tried re-tightening and it seems with each quick fix it gets worse and worse. Luckily this is a spare bathroom so it doesn t get much use.Spend the extra $10 on a quality TP holder. 1Elegant TP Holder Well made, great brush nickle finish, comes with all the needed hardware to install. Easy to install We recently updated and remodeled our master bath and found that the towel hardware that matched our fancy designer faucets were so expensive, really overpriced for what we were getting. So I went on the hunt for brushed nickel (or close enough looking) that would match our budget as well as our style. I was sort of skeptical about these, but I liked the clean modern look and the price was right. I ordered a set of hardware from this manufacturer (large and small towel bars, matching hooks and this toilet paper holder). thinking if they turned out cheap looking I could just return them and find something else.No need to return them! They're great. They look really nice and were super easy to install. I did it myself, no problem. I highly recommend if you want a clean modern designer look for a reasonable price. We're super pleased and would order again if the need arises. See the photos. 5Wow! Wow this is so high quality for the price! I looked at Lowes, Home Depot and even Walmart and there was nothing that was modern and high quality that wasn't over $100 for a set of just a couple items. I needed a towel bar, a towel ring, a towel hook and a toilet paper holder and all of that would have costed me $200 but with this KES brand it costed me maybe about $75. So very happy with my decision to go with this brand and they have lasted a whole year without rust, the sturdiness is still there and they are still GORGEOUS. If you are on the fence about this, just trust me and buy them! 5
