    Best knife so far! Love this knife! It lives in my pocket, and when I am wearing a dress without pockets, I can clip it to my bra strap and it is hidden under my shirt. I haven't been without a pocket knife on my person since I was 8. This is my favorite so far - the spring assisted opening is the best feature - allowing it to be opened one-handed. Fits my small woman's hand perfectly.UPDATE 4/17: After carrying this knife daily, clipped inside the tiny front pocket of my jeans, the plastic blade lock has broken off. No idea how that happened. I'm not concerned about it opening accidently in my pocket - I feel it takes enough force to open the blade that it would not happen accidently, but be aware that the lock is a weak feature in this design. It should have been made of metal, not plastic. 5Broke after 6 months Perfect size, smooth action, sharp out of box. It is a joy to use! Love the spring assist and straight blade, the curve profile is really nice.UPDATE: after 6 months the knife is still great in the hand... But the speedsafe spring stopped working! The knife no longer completely opens when you activate it, it had a great snappy action before and this is really disappointing. Downgrading from 5 stars to 2, 2This knife makes me look like a badass This knife makes me look like a badass. Girls don't normally carry knives in their pockets - but I'm the girl you want around when you need an Amazon box opened.Pros:- It cuts things- It makes me look awesome- It feels good in my hands- It makes me look more intimidating when I switch it open- Guys do NOT mess with meCons- I can't take it on an airplane- I feel naked without it 5Compact size, safety lock is plastic and will break. Perfect smaller size for an everyday carry knife. I use the clip for my left jeans pocket and it stays securely in place. The plastic safety lock will break in a few months. I have replaced the safety lock twice; replacing it is more hassle that what is is worth. So, I carry this knife without a safely lock and it never opens in my pocket so long as it is clipped on my LEFT pocket. Convenient size for cutting boxes, string, things around the house. 4Great, small knife at a good price. We got this knife for my wife. She thinks it's a good size for a woman to have since women's pockets tend to be smaller than men's.The quick release is a nice feature as well as the one handed closing mechanism. It also has a simple lock on the bottom of it to keep the blade closed just in case the release gets bumped. She's also very pleased with the blade itself.Great knife. 4Great knife for the lady in your life I bought this knife for my wife. She likes the color and functionality. She can open easily with one hand. I have a Kershaw Leek I was going to give to her but she couldn't open it with one hand. The flipper required too much pressure. The angle on this flipper is much better too.This knife is very indicative of what you can expect out of Kershaw USA quality. The deployment action is smooth, the locking is good and the blade centering is great. The knife gives no play back and forth and side to side when deployed.People complain that the knife would be hard to sharpen because of the shape. I use a ceramic rod for my kitchen equipment that I can use on this as well. In the future I may have to buy some sort of rod with more grit to actually sharpen instead of hone.Pros:Easy and snappy deploymentFeels good in the handRight size for small handsCons:May not work with your sharpening system 5Pretty but has some quirks. Sharp and really nice blade.It has a safety on the handle, I'm not sure if I like the feature. It's my first knife that has a safety switch..The knife is a bit small and I have a tendency to hold my hand over the knife tip while trying to open. (Not a good idea.)I was used to a different knife model/design so I've had to learn to hold this one differently while opening.The "auto" open sometimes does not function properly. My first knife would not complete the action and lock into place.I ordered a replacement knife that was actually worse than the first at completing the action and locking into place.I decided to keep it and to see if it improved over time.It did after about a week.I knocked off a star for the opening action and and I knocked off a star for the odd way of holding it to open.It is a beautiful knife though. 3Great little tool. Feels nice to hold. I love this knife. It's absolutely sharp, I've had it for two years and use it almost daily and have never had to get it sharpened. Keep it on my person, or in my purse for emergencies. It's a bit difficult to close if you have longer nails and you do need to show a first-time user how to close it without them hurting themselves, just to be safe. The safety lock stays even when tossing around in my bag. When my dad needed to use a knife and I handed him this, he initially scoffed, but quickly changed his tune and was audibly impressed with this little pocket knife's sharpness and ease of use. 5Perfect EDC knife! Simply the best EDC you can have. Not too big and not too small. Fits the watch pocket perfectly. Easy to open with one hand. I never leave home without it. I bought the Chive for an EDC with dress clothes. The Scallion is perfect for jeans. I was given one as a gift and carried it every day for years. Unfortunately I lost it so I ordered another asap. Thought I had lost the second one so I ordered a third. Fortunately I found the second one so now I have one in reserve.Saw a reviewer whose knife wouldn't open with a flick, they ordered another and it was the same. I've found that after disassembling mine for cleaning (sand in the works after a kayak trip in the Atlantic) it is necessary to adjust the pivot screw until it will open fully with a flick. If you crank down on it the blade will not open properly.This knife fits perfectly in the watch pocket of a pair of jeans. I've never had it accidentally open in my pocket so I just screwed the safety down tight so it couldn't move. I got tired of the safety getting pushed on and having to release it. The whole point of a spring assist open it to be able to open it quickly and with one hand. I can draw the knife, open it and use it with one hand while holding a work piece or other item to be cut. 5Love it! The best pocket knife I've ever owned. I found this on recommendation from a friend because I really needed a pocket knife I could carry on me again. I hadn't carried one in years, but now that I have gotten this one, I'll be sticking with Kershaw's from here on out. This is the perfect size, length, weight and of course color for me. 5
